wonderbread Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 Whether we want to believe it or not, the faces of the NHL is Sid the Kid and Alexander the Great. They will be shoved in our faces till the day they retire. I disagree. The ovie love affair is over.
frissonic Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 I haven't seen Vanek skating like this in months. you sure don't tweet very much. :) vanek's been saving it all for this game.
bunomatic Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 Just a reminder guys that the breast thread is sorely lacking in new links.
FogBat Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 Sorry I'm walking into this really late into the game, but I like the fact that we have the longest winning streak going in the league right now. (If someone else mentioned the winning streak before now, my bad.)
Iron Crotch Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 ... this line is just toying with the Caps right now... it's like men against boys...
... Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 OMG, did you see that little cycle between Ennis and Stafford? Impressive.
Campy Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 Thank you. Did he ever work for the Isles network? When I saw him, tonight, my brain did a NYI sorta deja vu, thing. He's from the Island but the Caps are his first (and only) NHL gig - aside from work he did for Versus and likely will for NBC Sports come playoff time. He spent a lot of time on the bus doing games in the AHL but I don't remember whose games he called...
Randall Flagg Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 Sorry I'm walking into this really late into the game, but I like the fact that we have the longest winning streak going in the league right now. (If someone else mentioned the winning streak before now, my bad.) I think you were first...
Randall Flagg Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 ... this line is just toying with the Caps right now... it's like men against boys... Um, it's spelled boyes. :P
Claude274 Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 2 min and counting.....59, 58, 57, 56...
cdexchange Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 No way, they got hot at the right time. Exactly. The Sabres are good at hockey.
Neo Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 You know, it's not really fair to keep playin' the Ennis line against these guys ... they're just TOYING ... someone said it on this board .. the combination of skill, speed, size and finish ... just seems to work.
sabresnutinphoenix Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 Why couldn't we play like this a little earlier in the season?
Jsixspd Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 OMG, did you see that little cycle between Ennis and Stafford? Impressive. Yeah, although they didn't score, that was an impressive series for the Stafford line
Claude274 Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 So Darcy was right when he said that if the team was full they would win more!
Onceagain Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 I'm probably significantly jumping the gun...but could Ennis be our Claude Giroux? First year and a half in the league he was a winger, recorded 74 points in 124 games. 3rd season moved to center, 76 points in 82 games. And this year 86 points in 72 games. Ennis 27 points in 42 games in year 2....but extrapolating his point total at center he looks like Giroux in year 3. I had the same thought. Jumping the gun? A little but he certainly moves similarly and has the curly locks :)
apuszczalowski Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 And the Pens continue to look beatable....... 8-4 against the Sens on Saturday 5-2 against the Isles right now *And that was with Fleury starting and playing the 1st and 2nd) Fridays game doesn't look so scary right now as it did about a week ago
DR HOLLIDAY Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 OMG, did you see that little cycle between Ennis and Stafford? Impressive. I watched that entire play 3 times, awesome, they looked like the Harlem Globe Trotters on Ice, lol
OverPowerYou Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 Harry Neale mentioned the word "playoffs." We're doomed.
TrueBlueGED Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 I haven't seen Vanek skating like this in months. If Vanek is healthy, or simply has his confidence back...watch out! This team is reminding me of the 05-06 team but with a better Miller.
wjag Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 I'm going to call it early.. Glory.. 8th place.... Game Summary  :w00t: :P :censored:  :worthy:
... Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 you sure don't tweet very much. :) vanek's been saving it all for this game. Haha. You're right. Twitter requires a devotion I don't have for it right now.
