Weave Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Close fight, not much landed. Big scrum in front of the Wild net after Johnson hauled down Turnbull at the whistle. Cody McCormick gets into the fray and a huge scrum ensues. Out of the pile Turnbull and Johnson emerge throwing punches. It didn't look to me like anything of substance connected, but I'll give a slight win to Turnbull as he appeared to throw more. Whether any of them actually connected or not.........
Eleven Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Only in somewhat rare circumstances do I consider the guy who landed on his back to be the winner, and this isn't one of them. Draw.
biodork Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 I'd say draw or slight edge to Turnbull as well... Yeah Travis ended up on his back, but he had the jersey partially over the other guy's head and it looked like he was the one to haul them down.
I am Defecting Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 Turnbull with the psychological edge. ;) He seemed like he was enjoying himself more.
SwampD Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 I liked the pat on the back (tap out?) by Johnson at the end.
shrader Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 I like how the goalie was standing right next to the fight the whole time. Come on man, get out of there!
R_Dudley Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 The fight was a draw but the match goes to Turnbull for pulling the Jersey over Johnsons head. The bonus points are for the embarassment factor and fuel for later trash talking.
cdexchange Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 I liked the pat on the back (tap out?) by Johnson at the end. I noticed and liked that as well. I thought maybe he was asking Turnbull if he was OK, since it appeared at first as though his helmet-less head had been driven into the ice on the takedown. I was really worried for him and was happy to see that was apparently not the case once he skated off ok. :)

Also, a big Thanks for Nuthin to Brad Boyes, who stood disinteredly by wishing he was anywhere else.
