TrueBlueGED Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Don't count the penguins out. Let's Go Buffalo! Bishop is hurt, so Anderson for the remainder of the game. Pittsburgh definitely has the offense to come back....although Thiessen may allow 5 more the way he's playing. YAY MYERS!
Jsixspd Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Sweet! Foligno should get an assist I would think at least.
wjag Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 The game changes now as Minny will have to press instead of trap.. Buckle up...
Randall Flagg Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Vanek went to Minnesota. In fact I believe his Golden Gophers won the NCAA championship. My bad, I wonder what I was thinking of...
TrueBlueGED Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 I think Foligno needs to continue shooting at 50% forever.
TrueBlueGED Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 My bad, I wonder what I was thinking of... Miller maybe? I don't think we have anyone else that played in Michigan.
Jsixspd Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Not sure why the whistle wasn't blown when the puck was laying on top of Buffalo's net?
K-9 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 It was aliens. Vanek went to college in Michigan, maybe K-9 thought he went to Minnesota... Um, no. He was drafted out of the University of Minnesota by the Sabres after a great Frozen Four performance in Buffalo. His wife is from Minny as well. GO SABRES!!!

TrueBlueGED Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Not sure why the whistle wasn't blown when the puck was laying on top of Buffalo's net? Because NHL games are officiated by NHL referees ;)
87168 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Who the hell is Travis Turnbull? He got recalled from the Amerks last game. I like him.
deluca67 Posted March 25, 2012 Author Report Posted March 25, 2012 Who the hell is Travis Turnbull? Kaleta's agent's least favorite player.
Jsixspd Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Because NHL games are officiated by NHL referees ;) LOL - well in the rangers game last night, they whistled it when the puck was a few inches up on the back of the net while players were jousting for it. This was just sitting dead next to Miller's water bottle - LOL
TrueBlueGED Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Kaleta's agent's least favorite player. Unless Turnbull can double his skating speed I don't think Kaleta's agent is overly concerned.
Robviously Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Miller maybe? I don't think we have anyone else that played in Michigan. Miller went to Michigan State. So did Corey Tropp. I think Turnbull went to Michigan.
neverenough Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 He got recalled from the Amerks last game. I like him. I like him also, in your face kinda guy.
deluca67 Posted March 25, 2012 Author Report Posted March 25, 2012 Unless Turnbull can double his skating speed I don't think Kaleta's agent is overly concerned. The difference in their speed or the difference in their price tags? Which will be more important to the Sabres in the off-season?
Jsixspd Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Vanek should have crushed that goalie - he was way out of the crease. LOL
TrueBlueGED Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 The difference in their speed or the difference in their price tags? Which will be more important to the Sabres in the off-season? In my view, hopefully speed. Plus Kaleta is a superior player (at the moment anyway). If anything I want the Sabres to upgrade team speed if possible, not downgrade. Vanek should have crushed that goalie - he was way out of the crease. LOL As long as he pretends he didn't mean to, it's OK, right?
