wacollin Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 Would the Rangers rather play Buffalo or Washington and might that have an impact on tonight's game? Just thinking out loud here, any thoughts?
dEnnis the Menace Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 I think the Rangers just want the #1 overall seat in the rankings, regardless of the #8. If I'm them though, I'd rather have Washington. Buffalo has been really hot as of late, (over a month now), and Washington has been all over the place all year.
LGR4GM Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 Washington has more offense Buffalo has better goaltending and I would say slightly better def. If I am the rangers I would rather play Washington.
Weave Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 They aren't thinking about Buffalo/Washington in the playoffs yet. Too many games to finish for them to be thinking about influencing a matchup.
ROCBuffalo Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 I hope they want to play Buffalo, and purposely lose tonight!!! ahhhhh yeaahhhh two points baby!
itbeatswalking Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 They want to play Washington, no doubt, washinton's goaltending is just like philly's last year.
shrader Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 Or Philly. Ok, we know they don't want to play them, but we need to include that possibility.
Taro T Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 Would the Rangers rather play Buffalo or Washington and might that have an impact on tonight's game? Just thinking out loud here, any thoughts? There is still 10% of the season left. There is no ###### way that the Strangers are concerned w/ the 8th seed at this point. Their concern is the #1 seed.

Their concern is the #1 seed. That, and probably a certain piece of hardware that is undervalued by some posters here.
LastPommerFan Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 They are going to tank the game tonight because they want Philly in the first round.
deluca67 Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 The Rangers have 5 wins in their last 12 games played. They have bigger issues than possible 1st round opponents.
