wjag Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 back 2 back...U guy's think it's a given Miller plays tomorrow? My guess is Enroth plays...
TheMatrix31 Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 Great game, love our energy and enthusiasm, and those counter-attacks are a thing of beauty.
darksabre Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 My guess is Enroth plays... I would bet a thousand dollars Miller plays.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 My guess is Enroth plays... Miller will play
BarDown Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 Two points behind Ottawa (if they lose tonight) and they play Pittsburgh tomorrow
Punch Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 8th Place....Lookout Ottawa!!! Caps Blow a 3 goal lead!!! Love it!!! I say Game 82 at Boston is for the Northeast Division lead.
wjag Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 Miller will play He needs a break.. Minnesota at home might be just the game to rest him. If he rests tomorrow, it will be his last one... This team can win with Enroth in net.
NowDoYouBelieve Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 I'm going to go out on a limb. Ehrhoff's save was the biggest play of the Sabres' season thus far.
kishoph Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 May have something to do with matchups? That's the only reason I can thing of. I think Lindy liked the Roy line out there against Richards and Gaborik. It would be interesting to see how many minutes the Richards/Gaborik line got to see if it mirrors Roy. GO SABRES!!! Richards line roughly 16:00 EVTOI, Roy 19:47 EVTOI. I know he's been playing better the last couple of games, but still, give some of that time to a line that's been hot.
Jsixspd Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 Maybe now MSNBC and/or the NHL Network will take a break from the Ovechkin lovefest to mention the Caps are in a neck and neck race with the Sabres and could be eliminated from the playoffs? That didn't even get mentioned in the lead up to their game tonight.
wjag Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 I'm going to go out on a limb. Ehrhoff's save was the biggest play of the Sabres' season thus far. His play just prior that led to his save was also pretty darn memorable....
frissonic Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 So Sabres still in 9th place because of the tie breaker, but now at least now no game at hand. and with washington on the docket tuesday night, that game now becomes monumental. i'm already predicting a bloody throat from yelling and screaming, followed by 3 days of silence to let it heal.
... Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 He needs a break.. Minnesota at home might be just the game to rest him. If he rests tomorrow, it will be his last one... This team can win with Enroth in net. I could swear I heard Ruff very recently saying Enroth needs to get a game in here down the stretch. This would be that game IMHO.
Iron Crotch Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 Goal Montreal. That should do it. Now 5-1 Habs over the Sens.
wjag Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 Goal Montreal. That should do it. Now 5-1 Habs over the Sens. Weird looking goal...
tiredsounds Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 He needs a break.. Minnesota at home might be just the game to rest him. If he rests tomorrow, it will be his last one... This team can win with Enroth in net. people are too harsh on enroth for my liking. the games he lost this year were due in part to how awful the sabres were playing. it doesn't matter how good your goalie is. if your defence is like a sieve and your goalscoring doesn't exist, you aren't going to win games. enroth should play tomorrow, give miller a rest. he deserves it.
Claude_Verret Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 Wow what a last 30 seconds of ot in florida. On to shootout
wjag Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 Wow what a last 30 seconds of ot in florida. On to shootout Florida is pretty good in the SO.. I give them the win.. Nope... Oilers
thesportsbuff Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 Richards line roughly 16:00 EVTOI, Roy 19:47 EVTOI. I know he's been playing better the last couple of games, but still, give some of that time to a line that's been hot. Not sure that following a 4-1 win over a top team in the league is the best time to complain about Lindy's line management. Especially considering both lines played very well with the time they got anyway.
Iron Crotch Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 When Stafford is playing well he is actually a good combo of speed and size Drew has 10 points and is a +8 over the last 5 games. Amazing.
PromoTheRobot Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 Finally have a chance to post. That was the best offensive performance I've seen all year. Even without scoring they were making plays. This team is in the groove. PTR
