darksabre Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 I have yet to watch a game with my girlfriend in the 2 1/2 months we've been dating, but every game that I have intended on watching that she has subsequently kept me from watching, they have won, so when she asks me to go out or to do something when the Sabres are playing, I just agree blindly now. bad juju tho? she canceled on tonight because she got called into work...do I watch the game? this is tough... 1. Consume Beer 2. Observe sporting event 3. Sleep
dEnnis the Menace Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 1. Consume Beer 2. Observe sporting event 3. Sleep I knew I could get good advice from you. thanks guy haha
Eleven Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 serious question: im dating a new girl (not from Buffalo) and she is getting into the team pretty hardcore. The problem is, every game weve watched together we've blown late, or lost. i like her and all, but is it worth the playoffs? Do you mean the Sabres have blown late? Because I usually don't pick on the "we" thing, but in this context, it is producing some curious results.
korab rules Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 The Sabres have lost every single game my girlfriend watched and I full intend on marrying the girl. Come up with clever ways to stop her from watching and you're all set. Make her a Leafs fan or something. She can't possibly hurt their numbers. I'm thinking goal celebrations that involve full frontal nudity while re enacting the goal using puppets.

I usually don't comment when threads swing wildly off topic, but this one is just too good to not give it an official thumbs up. Fantastic work, Sir!

TrueBlueGED Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 I remember when i thought Good Charlotte was a good band. Little things was my jam in high school "Good Charlotte? More like Mediocre Green Day!" - Chris Rock
spndnchz Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 Walking into the Center feels like a spring playoff game.
BlueNGold Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 Any word on who is out? I am guessing Kaleta is hurt? Sulzer in? Travis Turnbill in? Great name, by the way....maybe shoulda been a boxer..... ladies and gentlemen....In the Red Corner weighing in at 275 lbs......TRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA - VIS TUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRNN BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL LLLLLLLLLLLLLLL Let's hope he is a heavyweight.
spndnchz Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 I'm seeing both Sulzer and Weber for pregame skate. No Gerbe. Price in net for Habs. Turnbull is skating.
I am Defecting Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 turnbull, the sherriff, playing tonight for Kaleta. No 7th defenseman dressing, per WGR.
nobody Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 Buffalo Sabres @BuffaloSabres #Sabres scratches: Mike Weber, Patrick Kaleta, Matt Ellis and Nathan Gerbe. #sabreschat
itbeatswalking Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 If we don't walk away with 2, not sure our playoff hopes are alive anymore. Not too optimistic about our next game, and the one against the pens. Also, who knows how the final 2 against Philly and Boston will go. Need the 2 pts when easiest. (tonight hopefully)!
wjag Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 Show time... 60 minutes to glory That was a heckuva pass by Ennis to Tropp... Too bad it handcuffed Tropp..
K-9 Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 Hodgson staying off the schneid. A nice cheapie could be all he needs to get him going. GO SABRES!!!
... Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 Between McCormick, Foligno, and Sulzer, Miller should feel pretty safe back there, not to mention the others whose sacks have emerged lately. And there's Hodgson's first goal! YAY!
DR HOLLIDAY Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 CoHo with his first as a Sabre..........
nobody Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 Hodgson! Nice work - never know what can happen getting the puck on net.
