Iron Crotch Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 80 points. C'mon, Philly tomorrow night!
TrueBlueGED Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 If only Vanek could score goals with his balls. He has children, no? ;) Lol well he got an assist at least. Not with his balls!
nobody Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 If only Vanek could score goals with his balls. Wouldn't count - distinct kicking motion.
I am Defecting Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 Tough night to be critical. I'm thankful that I'm not a Montreal fan tonight. Or a Leafs fan.
JujuFish Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 If Washington loses tomorrow night, Buffalo will control its destiny.
... Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 Solid, solid game. Fun to watch. They have to keep playing this roster, with the exception that Kaleta goes back in when he can.
CallawaySabres Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 Oh Ottawaaaaaa, I seeeee uuuuuuuuuuu
Iron Crotch Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 Oh Ottawaaaaaa, I seeeee uuuuuuuuuuu Yep. Only 4 behind them now and even on games. This is getting interesting....
Jsixspd Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 Ok, I saw most of this game at the gym, and listened to the rest on the ride home. GREAT game - CoHo has really come alive, ever since he popped his cherry. We needed him hot too, with so much at stake. Now we gotta root for Philly tomorrow night.
TrueBlueGED Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 On to the next one....roadie in Manhattan. I'm a Rangers skeptic, but there's really no arguing their home record. Gonna be tough.
I am Defecting Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 Glad Hodgson is off the schnide. Did you know that the only points that Kassian has scored in a Vancouver uniform, were the 2 he registered against the Sabres? Kassian 2pts / Hodgson 4pts
tiredsounds Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 Now we gotta root for Philly tomorrow night. one of the worst parts of the push for the playoffs
I am Defecting Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 Winnepeg v. Washington also coming up.
TrueBlueGED Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 If Miller gets 4 more wins (which I'm assuming will happen at this point), he'll have 7 straight seasons of 30+ wins. I don't remember the exact statistic, but that's pretty rare air.
Redemption City Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 If Miller gets 4 more wins (which I'm assuming will happen at this point), he'll have 7 straight seasons of 30+ wins. I don't remember the exact statistic, but that's pretty rare air. I was just thinking about this. I know at one point this year one of the announcers was saying that streak would end this year. What a crazy year.
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 If Miller gets 4 more wins (which I'm assuming will happen at this point), he'll have 7 straight seasons of 30+ wins. I don't remember the exact statistic, but that's pretty rare air. That tends to happen when games that used to be ties are forced into wins. Au contraire, I'm firmly affixing myself to it. What color shirt is Rickshaw wearing?
Andrew Amerk Posted March 22, 2012 Author Report Posted March 22, 2012 No offense to the OP but with these GDT's can we get a home/away and time put on the title please. A game discussion tag and opponent city tag also. Makes for better searching later. Sorry. I just copied what cvanvol did for the last game. Great game tonight. Hodgson and Miller played well. I am now 1-0-0 in GDT's.
spndnchz Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 I believe Miller has surpassed Hasek even counting overtime wins. That was awesome. Except for two or three Montréal zone pressures the Sabres had that one. Yeah buddy. What's with Subban circling and circling and circling and circling and circling does he not look up to see who's open? circling circling...
korab rules Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 Sorry. I just copied what cvanvol did for the last game. Great game tonight. Hodgson and Miller played well. I am now 1-0-0 in GDT's. Ignore her. Whatever you did, do It again next game.
TrueBlueGED Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 That tends to happen when games that used to be ties are forced into wins. While it may be easier now than pre-lockout, I think the only other goaltender to accomplish it since the lockout is Lundqvist. It's not like any scrub can do it. Apparently Luongo and Kiprusoff have also done it. I stand by my point, it's impressive.

SDS Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 "Montreal came hard tonight, all over Ryan Miller's crease." -Mike Johnson, NHL Tonight 3/21/12 no he didn't...
spndnchz Posted March 22, 2012 Report Posted March 22, 2012 Ignore her. Whatever you did, do It again next game. You're cut off no more nukki for you. And if anyone thinks that a game day thread necessitates the Sabres winning or losing really needs to get a life.
