Hawerchuk Posted August 18, 2005 Report Posted August 18, 2005 Great article on our defenseman. Summers almost over, Jay. Get off the tennis court and get your head on the game. I don't give a rats ass what you do with your tennis game or your wife. Start getting back to the old form where you crushed people into the boards!! http://timesunion.com/AspStories/story.asp?storyID=390097
ricogarion Posted August 18, 2005 Report Posted August 18, 2005 McKee paid the physical price early in his career since then he has been little more than a pylon on the ice. When his head is on and he feels the energy level is at an adequate level he performs. But one thing is certain he is not capable of carrying a defense corp by himself. The guy who was a leader is in Calgary and was berated for getting hurt but you know players like Rhett Warrener get hurt because they give everything they have night in and night out not just when the mood strikes them. This club has never adequately replaced Rhett Warrener unless you consider the "G-Spot Warrior" Henrik Tallinder, but that EuroFreak is even softer than bathroom tissue.
