gpsabre Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 [ The real question is why are hopes so high for a player many didn't really know anything about before the trade deadline? We are talking about a player that will have a first season that resembles Drew Stafford. Look how that turned out. Thats the problem, Darcy is always looking (hoping for the future) what about NOW??????
kishoph Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 It seems like we are never entering their zone with more than 2 players, why is it taking so long for the forwards to catch up to the play ?
Iron Crotch Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Every team in the league stands up our forwards at the blue line when we're on the rush.
waldo Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Ottawa looks confused ..They are unsure of wwho to play their shutdown line against.
deluca67 Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Thats the problem, Darcy is always looking (hoping for the future) what about NOW?????? For "now"? The only positive is that he plays center which they needed. If they were looking for an immediate offensive impact they really missed the mark.

We are talking about a player that will have a first season that resembles Drew Stafford. Look how that turned out. I think we were taking our cues from Canucks fans who were upset to see him go. He was putting up good numbers in Vancouver with very little ice time. He gets the benefit of the doubt for now. He's had the worst travel schedule of anyone in hockey since the trade deadline and maybe one practice with his new team. Realistically, I'm not sure how much he could do.
Randall Flagg Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 As much as I like Gerbe's effort, if he isn't scoring he is as useless as Boyes IMO.
bunomatic Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Its sabotage I tell you! Sticks are breaking all over.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 That was offsides Yes it was, brutal miss by the linesman
Jsixspd Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Just got home - saw the 3 on 1 opportunity evaporate when Pommers' stick broke. Where the hell are the Sabres getting their equipment? Out of a cracker-jack box? C'mon!

DR HOLLIDAY Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Great save by Miller. Come on lets score some goals...... :wallbash:
Iron Crotch Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Oof. Ya think someone missed an assignment there? :wallbash:
wjag Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Those maybe the best back to back saves I have ever seen
CallawaySabres Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 My God is this team beyond pathetic...

biodork Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 As much as I like Gerbe's effort, if he isn't scoring he is as useless as Boyes IMO. He heard you! lol 1-1
