What Should I Wear Tomorrow?

Someone needs a few more drinks, I think. I don't want to be sticking up for Boston at all, but all of that coming from a guy who is suggesting sneaking a knife into a hockey game... yeah, I'm not so sure it holds much weight.

I guess I should have prefaced my comments with the fact that I meant all that stuff about the knife and the aids in a good christian way.

I was drunk when I made that original post but the ceramic knife comment was tongue in cheek. The other Boston comments may have been a little over the top but I live in a military town and have met many people from that area over the years and even though I'm sure some of the people from there are ok, the ones I've met were exactly as advertised. On the other hand, I'm sure plenty of people think I'm an insufferable a-hole as well, so take it for what it's worth.

Wear a Yankees A-Rod jersey. That will get you some attention. :flirt:

Am I the only red sox fan that laughs at the sight of an A-Rod jersey? No respect for that.

hahaha, an A-Rod jersey wearer would probably get hated on at Yankees Stadium, let alone in Boston. I am a Yankees fan, and I'd like to see him gone. I think the Yankees playoff run for two years straight have ended with A-Rod strike-outs. Not that he's the only problem with the team, or that his strikeouts were the reason for the losses, but he is just one of the most glaring problems with the team.

Don't apologize! I thought we finally had found someone who could take on Lucic!

I posted on the game discussion thread that I had a great time at the game. I was sitting five rows above where the Bruins players come out from the locker room (row 14) at the end where the Sabres were shooting twice. The fans I sat next to were great. Yes, they took the requisite cheap shots, but every one of them was good-natured and funny. I most enjoyed talking hockey with a few of them -- they were knowledgeable hockey fans and we had interesting commentary back and forth about our teams and the league in general.

My Bruins-fan friend and I went to the Harp briefly before the game then went into the arena early. Before, during, and after the game, I never received a nasty comment or threatening remark of any kind. I would say that the Bruins fans peacefully co-existed with a sworn enemy in their midst. I have nothing bad to say about Bruins fans -- this was my second game at TD Garden and had the same experience the first time (went with my son two years ago for a 3-2 Sabres loss).

A bonus: My cousin sent me a picture he captured off his TV in Buffalo. It had me, my buddy, and a couple of the Boston fans next to us in the picture. We were on TV back home during the intermission!
