deluca67 Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Too many playmakers on the Hodgson line. I was against breaking them up last game because they've been creating lots of chances, but Hodgson needs a sniper on his line as much as Vanek needs a playmaker on his line. Hodgson's problem is a common one on this team, too many play makers in the forward ranks.

Jsixspd Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Lindy must of given him a pep talk during the intermission. LOL Roy gets upset when one of his linemates one-ups him. hahaha!
Guest Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Will someone please tell Rob Ray that there is no "t" at the end of the word "across". Right after he learns how to pronounce the word "about" the right way. It's not aboot Rob, aboot is something you wear on your foot.
Punch Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 I didn't want to say it the other night because people were riding me for other stuff....but he really floats out there. It's one thing on offense because sometimes you make a pass and see the ice better if you coast...sort of like a RB in football waiting for the hole to open up....but then for the first time in 5 games I saw him actually put his upper body into skating with 2 minutes left in the game. He skates so upright I figured maybe it was his bad back or something....but he sort of reminds me of Connolly out there from a few years ago, and not because of #19 That line did need a change because they were out for quite awhile on the PP. It looked like he was picked before he could get to Larose but he didn't try to fight through it at all. I'm still willing to see how he develops but then again I was interested in seeing the development of that guy we traded, too.
Randall Flagg Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Nice Ennis. Too bad stafford couldnt finish
Jsixspd Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Arrrgh!!! Vanek!!!! Great chance and he blew it
biodork Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 We going with the German defense pairing tonight? (Sulzer - Hoff) I probably just missed it at some point, but any reason they switched from the Myers-Ehrhoff pairing? Seemed like those two did well together.
Randall Flagg Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 love those blind passes to the middle of the ice where not one sabre is to be found...
... Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Pominville has looked horrible lately. Roy is like kyrptonite to his linemates.
deluca67 Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Pominville has looked horrible lately. He misses Miller's wife.
... Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 He misses Miller's wife. He's looked bad longer than that.
Jsixspd Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Roy is like kyrptonite to his linemates. How long will it take Lindy Ruff to grasp the now painfully obvious fact that there's no chemistry in that line, and it needs to be broken up?
Derrico Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 I didn't want to say it the other night because people were riding me for other stuff....but he really floats out there. Iron Crotch Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 I probably just missed it at some point, but any reason they switched from the Myers-Ehrhoff pairing? Seemed like those two did well together. Looks like Myers and Leo tonight. BTW - I'm not a big fan of the Weber - Regehr pair (combined -34) as of late. Robyn looks like he is having a hard time turning (pivoting) to his left. Guys keep going by him on that side.
biodork Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Wow, I've never heard RJ's voice do that before. He probably hasn't since he finished puberty, lol.

They were paired not so long ago and seemed to do well together, is all.

I think Lindy figured he would pair the Germans together since (if I'm not mistaken) they played together with the German national team. Sulzer looks good tonight.
SwampD Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Oh, I agree. I think Lindy figured he would pair the Germans together since (if I'm not mistaken) they played together with the German national team. Sulzer looks good tonight. A unified Germany is always dangerous.

bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 stuk watching canes feed what a bunch of dorks. I can see lindy decided to NOT shake up lines and not start Enroth. If we lose to these clowns put a knife in it no guts and desperation tonight.
Guest Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Is there a team that just throws the puck around as blindly as the Sabres do? You would think they would have realized by now that there is NEVER a teammate in the crease since the Gaustad trade. Rarely was someone there when he was here, but at least there was a 25% chance someone might be in the crease when he was still on the team. Are these guys allergic to blue paint? They never seem to get near their own crease either.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 A unified Germany is always dangerous. LMAO
Randall Flagg Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Sure, they always blow the whistle when the goalie mask comes off. Except for enroth, who had to make three saves first in Carolina last year.
