Yeah, Hodgson had an opportunity to still defend after turning it over and blew it - got his stick knocked right out of his hands. sigh!

That crowd is certifiably obnoxious!

 

Can't blame 'em though. 15 years of no hockey will do that to a crowd. I'd like to answer with a couple goals to shut 'em up, though.

Tropp really makes that fourth line effective.

 

I've really been impressed with him. He may have well won himself a spot even if the other Cody gets right.

Listening to the C.B.C crew pump up the Canucks despite Buffaloes play saturday night and now listening to the tsn crew has me wanting to puke. There's two teams out there guys and there has to be something positive for you to say about the sabres play as of late. Just keep on throwing out the negative Pierre.

Sabres aren't doing that bad matching the Jets energy, but they are losing what seems like every battle to loose pucks. Ennis needed to just launch that puck.

It wasn't as bad as it looked, IMO. We withstood the opening 10 against a team that's been off since Thursday. We carried a good pace, Myers is playing big. Too many turnovers and one really hurt us after a bad rebound but we answered after they scored.

It's incredibly frustrating to watch this team get absolutely manhandled night after night. They can't keep the puck on their sticks or get a shot through, meanwhile Winnipeg is pushing them around at will. Pretty sobering despite the results from the nice turnaround, but with the size they give up up front it was bound to catch up to them anyway.

 

Still, I'm all in on the 8th spot. I can't help it.

What does McGuire add to the broadcast? All I hear is snarky, smart-ass comments in the middle of the PbP and immense ball-washing of players during their interviews.

We played very sloppy and lazy, but we still had some chances and are only losing by one. i still think we win this.

 

 

And yea, nice clock awareness ennis. Nothing like having a 2 on 1 with 8 seconds left and not getting a shot off

can you tell the game is not in Buffalo?

 

Jets look like they want it more.

 

Jets play bigger and more physical up front.. Punch is correct

They need to just shoot. Stop trying to setup some sort of highlight reel worthy goal and just get pucks to the net.
