Guest Sloth Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 I know this is way off topic, but have any of you seen the re-release of Star Wars The Phantom Menace? It won't be in theaters much longer, so I'm debating if I should go see it. I watched it in theaters in 1999, so it's not like I haven't experienced the "big screen" before. I did/still do enjoy the movie, but is it worth it to shell out 10 bucks to see it again in theaters? I can easily watch it at home, but part of me does not want to tell myself I should've went to the re-release after it is no longer being shown. I know I did that when I opted not to see the re-releases of the original trilogy. So what do you guys think? Is it worth going to, or should I be content w/ watching it at home?
ubkev Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 Well I personally hate 3D, however I did take my 7 year old to see it. The 3D is below average and the movie is the same movie that we've all seen. Nothing special to it. Just the lightsaber duel at the end.
