kishoph Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 hodgeson is logging the most minutes on offense even strength wise thats pretty amazing The way that line has looked they should be getting the most time.
Eleven Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 I must say, Benchroth is by far one of my favorite nicknames I've heard for any Buffalo athlete in recent memory. I owe it all to insomnia. Sweet, sweet insomnia.
K-9 Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 WOW Miller, he has to be dead tired after tonight. I was hoping the officials would of done something about the Sharks taking a crazy amount of whacks at Miller in the grease, the Sabres didn't seem to want to do anything about it.. I could think of no better way to define a Goalie stealing a game. Not as big as a game from Stafford as I was hoping, but I guess getting the game winning goal in a 1 - 0 game is pretty big. The Sharks gave the Sabres no time or space, pretty impressive, but not as impressive as the Miller Shutout. Did you miss Weber doing his lumberjack routine every time he had the chance tonight? He was great, especially after Regehr went out. He made life miserable for a lot of Sharks tonight. GO SABRES!!!
TrueBlueGED Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 The way that line has looked they should be getting the most time. Yup. As one of the people who was unhappy putting Ennis back on the wing....he can stay there for eternity if that line keeps playing this way.

I'll give Weber credit for that, but it wasn't enough, that's why the Sharks continued to do it, I was expecting the Officials to at least go over to the Sharks bench and tell them to stop it, it got out of hand a couple of times.
Eleven Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 I just looked for the first time in a little while: Four points out with two games in hand. Damn!
darksabre Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 These idiots are gonna do it. They're gonna freakin do it. Unbelievable. That said, I still hate Drew Stafford.
TheChimp Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 Drew with the goal and the game-saving block  What is happening here? First away back-to-back SOs since Tim Thomas in 2008, too! Miller!!!!!!!!!!
... Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 HE CAN'T RUN OUT FROM THE CREASE AND SCORE THE GOALS, TOO!
Redemption City Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 One of her pupils looks bigger than the other...and that's not a euphemism, I swear.
... Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 One of her pupils looks bigger than the other...and that's not a euphemism, I swear. Are you sure you're looking at her pupils?
Eleven Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 One of her pupils looks bigger than the other...and that's not a euphemism, I swear. She is slightly crosseyed, like her husband.
qwksndmonster Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 You're not Jewish enough to start the oy vey stuff, either. How Jewish is Jewish enough? Miller! Getting his freak on! More conjugal visits for Miller! Conjugal visits for everyone! MOTHER#####! 20 seconds after I post that..... See what happens when I support this team 100%?? The balance of the universe is off. Hahahaha nice Sizzle. This late season push is convincing me that Lindy is a bigger part of this team's troubles than I thought. Ryan Miller. I really wish RJ could've called this game :(
FolignosJock Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 HE CAN'T RUN OUT FROM THE CREASE AND SCORE THE GOALS, TOO! i would like to be in her crease
DumbPuck Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 One of her pupils looks bigger than the other...and that's not a euphemism, I swear. Have you ever seen Ryan's face up close? Maybe they have matching sets of googley eyes :-P. EDIT: BAHH Eleven beat me to it!

Many of the players Lindy was working with earlier in the season are either back in the AHL or have been traded.

Many of the players Lindy was working with earlier in the season are either back in the AHL or have been traded. To see this group of players go out there and play the way they've been playing lately (moreso last night than tonight) is frustrating me more and more when I think about the first half of the season. Our team this year has always looked good on paper, but they stopped showing up to the games in November and December. There is a definite lack of player leadership, but isn't it up to coaching to have the players ready to play every night? It's been discussed at length that we don't really know how much responsibility or control the coach has over his players showing up. Either way, something big has to change this Summer.
McJeff215 Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 Just got back from the game. I've got to say, I'm fairly impressed by the San Jose crowd. Knowledgable and friendly. It was their 100th sell out in a row, too. Overall a solid performance I thought, though a little slow at the get-go.
