5th line wingnutt Posted February 29, 2012 Report Posted February 29, 2012 Maybe I do not know how to search, if so I apologize... No one has mentioned that February 22 is George Washington’s birthday. Holy cr*p. He was only the ”go to” guy during the revolution, the president of the constitutional convention, and the first, and probably best president.
Taro T Posted March 1, 2012 Report Posted March 1, 2012 For anyone interested, here's a link to the full game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmKQdxwBY6M Wow. Thank you for posting that. I had goosebumps watching the 3rd. And hearing Jim McKay's commentation after the game nearly brought a tear to my eye. For those that aren't old enough to remember the Cold War it may not be as powerful, but that just brought back some amazing memories. I was at a swim meet while the game was going on live, and they kept giving updates over the PA system. When they announced that we'd tied the game in the 3rd and then took the lead, the place went insane. We raced home afterwards and caught the ABC broadcast late in the 1st period. What a game and what a memory. Thanks.
