qwksndmonster Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 Here we go again... I bet we see Captain America in net today.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 Lets see Leggio!! Im surprised a thread was made so early, ill be at a tennis tourney in Pittsburgh tomorrow, so im sure the game will be on everywhere. Im still a fan, thru thick and thin, but I want that top draft pick!!
JohnRobertEichel Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 STINKO FOR GRIGORENKO!!!!!!
JJFIVEOH Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 I really hate to say it, but this one is gonna be ugly.
mellaman101 Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 nice day to head out and start trout fishing, if any of you guys would like to come down to PA and hit the river let me know. Great trout fishing
bunomatic Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 Oh my Lord this could get even uglier. I'll watch with blinders on much like Darcy and Pegula do. GO SABRES !
CallawaySabres Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 Snowboarding all morning and then I'll have the game on. I hope another Toronto loss does not stall Darcy into getting into sell mode. It is not even where the Sabres are in the standings that is upsetting, it is the mental makeup of this team that reveals the red flags. I like the fact that it is on national TV even though the season is over. How about a 8-7 loss with stafford and roy combining for 2 hat tricks which leads to their exportation on Monday.....

I'm sure Team Pegula has been focusing all their attention on updating the Larry Quinn 'Man Games Lost to Injury' spreadsheet for the post-season press conference.

I'd rather an 8-7 win with the same aftermath, but I get where you're headed with this.
kishoph Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 My feeling are so jumbled on this game (and the rest of the season), I could never root for a team I love to lose, but a loss may be the best thing for them. I'm sort of anticipating the season to come to an end, it's been painful, with the bad play, terrible coaching and the MSG fiasco, it 's been hard to watch (or not watch).
TheMadCap Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 I think another poster said it best when we were playing at Detroit and Chicago back during the "0-fer" streak: best guess is they get raped. Someone should dig up the old late 90's Internet meme with the scary black dude...
OverPowerYou Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 We're in the perfect spot! A win and our 3% chance of being in the playoffs goes up... Lose and we are in good hands to get some draft picks!
Who Else? Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 I just got a feeling about this one. Sabres 4-1 even though the Pens have pretty much owned the Sabres for the last decade. However if its not a good game and the Pens win, I hope they completely embarass Buffalo. A big loss to this team seems to rile up the management more than others.

Iron Crotch Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 Sleet and snow down here in Nashville... I may just have to sit at home and watch this debacle. Prediction: 4-2 Penguins.
Kristian Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 I'm sure Team Pegula has been focusing all their attention on updating the Larry Quinn 'Man Games Lost to Injury' spreadsheet for the post-season press conference. I'm especially blown away by the "It's all your fault, heartless, heartless Buffalo media" excuse, he's added to the "reasons the Buffalo Sabres suck, that are absolutely no fault of management" book. When exactly was the last time anyone in the Sabres front office seemed riled up over a big loss? They may say something in the press, but riled up? No way, that requires a pulse and at least an ounce of testosterone, and management has neither.

The last time the front office said something about a loss, people here were pissed, IIRC. It was Pegula's comment about goaltending.
inkman Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 I hope there's another game on. Cuse is playing Rutgers at 1.
Oakstream Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 The nice thing about these early games is that I can watch them here in Sweden at a good time. Don't have to stay up all night. The bad thing is, they will probably lose badly. 5-1.

Oakstream Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 That's pretty cool. Where in Sweden are you? In a pretty small town called Östersund. It's in the middle of Sweden. Alexander Edler and Ulf Dahlén and Richard Persson is what this town has brought to the NHL :)

They were just totally embarrassed in Philly Thursday night and there wasn't a peep from management, in fact Pegula and Black are shown in their box at the FNC the next night looking quite content and showing no signs of concern.
SarasotaSabre Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 anyone see this game listed on Direct TV anywhere ?
