The prediction is fine. Following up with "Darcy must go." after your prediction is, well, wrong.

 

Prediction: nfreeman is going to commit a heinous felony in the future.

 

nfreeman must go to jail.

 

OK, point taken.

 

However...

 

To be fair, he could've been insinuating that Darcy should have already been fired.

 

...which I've been doing for a while now, although I suppose a huge performance today might have swayed me from that view.

 

Darcy must go.

One move...that's pathetic!!! There was speculation (from other NHL GM's) that Regier overvalues his players, and this proves it. Regier needs to be fired in the offseason.

I think thats wrong, I thought we got a 1st and 4th from the Preds for Gaustad, I dont think we gave up any picks....

I thought his comment about Darcy was predicated on whether or not his prediction would come true. And for what it's worth, his prediction was dead on.

 

I agree with his assessment too. We got great value for Gaustad but this was still a half-measure. This is a trade you make if you're not trying to make the playoffs, so why was this our only trade? We couldn't find good value for ANY of our other guys?

Roy would fit in nicely there too. I doubt he's involved though.

 

I can't think of big chips out in Vancouver other than Schneider. Maybe this is a three team deal. If that was the case my mind would start turning to Nash to Vancouver.
