Not bad. I would have preferred a Stones reference, but I'm fine with the TWs. Just like I would prefer a #1 for Gaustad, but I can live with a #2.

A #3 means you "check-out"?

Darcy has his eye on aU.S. Franklin Z-Grill 1867. He is currently trying to move 4 Hawaiian Missionaries 1851 to acquire the resources neccessary.

There's a thread for this crap. It's not this one.

Boyes being back on the ice and healthy only allows them to trade him. You can't trade an injured player so I'm sure they need him to get back on the ice prior to a trade.

just a thought...

My discontent is more with Tropp being sent down. I'm all for Boyes being moved (if possible).

I know the deals start really heating up around 1-3 but it's quarter to noon and only 1 trade so far involving one player, a pick and conditional pick. Man the media loves to hype up Trade Deadline Day.

Well I will give my final thought on rumors and what the sabres should do...

I think they should trade for Dustin Brown and Jarett Stoll out of LA and the package should include any of these - Roy, Stafford, Goose, MAG, Brennen, Sekera, Leopold and/or draft picks.

Really? Your final thought? You know you have more, don't hold back.

Interestingly, TSN just went to commercial with a Drew Stafford montage. Oh, be still my heart...

Please, please let it happen

What ever happened to all those posters that spent last off-season defending the Stafford contract extension? Is there anyone left that feels Stafford has any redeeming value as a player?

I have no idea, but I can guarantee you that I wasn't one of them. He has no redeeming value as a Buffalo Sabre. If some GM somewhere thinks his team can make something of him, by all means, take him.

So now Jack is a prime source of trade material?

He's better than nobody.

I'm not sure if all of that would get brown & stoll. BTW, does anyone think MAG is worth more than a rotting turd at this point?

I admit I was taken in by Stafford's performance last year and thought he had turned the corner and was ready to be a big boy. I admit I was wrong. I can not stand to watch him. His lazy play and complete lack of competitivness and toughness is maddening at best, sickening at worst. The real question is who would take him? No doubt Darcy will hang on until somebody offers him the moon. I would rather see Kasian or Foligno taking his slot right now.

I have the same feeling for Gragnani that I did for Butler last year...just too many mistakes (imho). Would not be sad to see him go in a package deal. Considering the defensive prospects in Rochester, he is expendable.

You've been struggling to hold in that "I told you so" for quite some time, haven't you? :P

Me? I wast just pointing out that there just doesn't seem to be the same level of support. That's all. ;)

I, for one, still think he will prove that contract to be a good value. Not sure he can do it here, positive he can't do it with Roy here.

By the way, while I don't post as often, I still visit this site extensively and while you have cloaked yourself in this TSC banner, your post seem more balanced lately. Things must be good.

Stafford's failures as a player are now Roy's fault?
