SwampD Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Laziest player in the game unless there is an empty net hatty waiting for him. That's just not true.
inkman Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 That is the old Kovie. He's not the same guy this year. If NJ makes the playoffs, I'm dedicating my time to watching this POS. I will not buy in until I have empirical evidence.
K-9 Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Seriously? Roy looked like he intended to trip that guy. Either that or he had another of his brain farts. That would imply he has a brain to fart with. GO SABRES!!!
BuffaloSoldier2010 Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Just so i can be that guy... Anyone think its more than a coincidence that we played like dogshit once lindy got back behind the bench? :flirt:
wonderbread Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 We're sellers again now, right? Don't let the last two weeks fool you. We were sellers in December.
JJFIVEOH Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Back to business as usual. I just don't get how they can look so good, then look so bad. There is no happy medium with this team. Thanks for the two week teaser you ###### sluffs, it was fun while it lasted.
bunomatic Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 This group is essentially injury free and they can't muster any offence. I've seen enough to know beyond a reasonable doubt that this is just a very bad team. The make up or mix of players, the size issue, the lack of quality centres throughout the lines, the lack of heart, grit or sandpaper, the lack of ballz, no scoring depth, poor management, whats beginning to look like poor ownership, at times poor coaching decisions, it all adds up to where we are right now. The highest payroll in the league and we very well may be in the draft lottery when all is said and done. Please wake up Mr. Pegula. Before you start to lose fans. If the people of Buffalo weren't so passionate about their team I would be very very worried about what seems to be inaction on your part to rectify this dire situation.
SarasotaSabre Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 what the hell is the point of pulling Miller down by two ? that's an automatic EN goal..........
wonderbread Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Just so i can be that guy... Anyone think its more than a coincidence that we played like dogshit once lindy got back behind the bench? :flirt: Patton could be behind the bench and it wouldn't have mattered with players on this team like Roy.
K-9 Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 They really missed Ellis tonight. GO SABRES!!!
deluca67 Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 That's just not true. I guess this a bad time to bring up that Kovy is the only forward in the top 63 in ice time.
inkman Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 They really missed Ellis tonight. GO SABRES!!! Haha! I guess this a bad time to bring up that Kovy is the only forward in the top 63 in ice time. Is that supposed to mean he's not lazy?
Lumpy Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 This feels like purgatory. Sabres playing out the string. Devils are the dullest team to watch and bring out the lukewarm. To keep myself occupied in during the game and out of the liquor cabinet, I made my subjective list of who I would keep around and who I would let go and who I don't care about (replace them if you can) I enjoy watching: Gerbe Kaleta Vanek Ennis Pominville Regier (could be more dominant if he had more help) Ehrhoff (his fight won me over) Myers (but not in love due to lack of grit) Tropp McNabb Players who could go that I used to like: Gaustaud (not tough any more) Weber (tough but screws up too often) McCormick (tough, seems to be injured a lot and does not match up well enough with other fihgters) Sekara (thought he could do more with the puck and floats too often) Folks I can't stand: Roy (biggest pusswad whiner she-male) Stafford (flaky) Gragnani (soft) Darcy (soft, stupid) Lindy (worn out) Ted Black (too much a go-along get a-long guy) Players who could leave and the universe (at least mine) won't change: Miller (just don't like the energy he emits) Enroth (intriguing start of the season) Boyes (I like on shootouts but a non factor most often) Hecht (less of a pylon this year) Leopold (solid enough but does not move me) Adam (mis-used this year but not aggressive) Ellis (I don't get it, for an enerrgy guy, could have more energy - I like Tropp more)) Kassian (more of a floater than the killer I expected. Has a pretty stupid look on his face, I had high hopes) Stuart (who ever that was) Chewie Special owner's category: Pegula (not hockey smart enough and not decisive enough)
SwampD Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 I guess this a bad time to bring up that Kovy is the only forward in the top 63 in ice time. Is that supposed to mean he's not lazy? He might be a mess, but he is not lazy. If you see him in person, he moves faster and is way better than anyone on the ice with him (for either team).
K-9 Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Haha! That was gift wrapped just for you, Ink. GO SABRES!!!
Lumpy Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Good to suck down some Nyquil and go to that foggy, mental la-la land where the Sabres don't annoy me. It's the same place Rosie O'Donnell no longer seems annoying -- wait, that is Nyquil and arsenic....
JJFIVEOH Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Hey, at least they don't have the injuries to deal with any more. :wallbash:
Koomkie Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Just so i can be that guy... Anyone think its more than a coincidence that we played like dogshit once lindy got back behind the bench? :flirt: honestly though...why were the lines crazy all night. no chemistry at all. what a boring game to watch.
deluca67 Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Haha! Is that supposed to mean he's not lazy? Not many "lazy" players averaging over 24 minutes a game.
inkman Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Not many "lazy" players averaging over 24 minutes a game. Let's face it, I hate him. Nothing anyone is going to say is going to change my mind. It may not be rational but I just can't stand him.
Iron Crotch Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Not many "lazy" players averaging over 24 minutes a game. Kovy is tied for 10th in the NHL in goals and tied for 8th in points too.
deluca67 Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Robi with some nice words for Kovy, calling all the complaints about Kovy being selfish "gargbage.' Referred to Kovy as "the real deal." Kovy is tied for 10th in the NHL in goals and tied for 8th in points too. 6 goals away from 400 for his career.
SwampD Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Let's face it, I hate him. Nothing anyone is going to say is going to change my mind. It may not be rational but I just can't stand him. Get over it. He's good. Your "Soft Euro/Russian" bias get's in the way of you seeing that.
