TrueBlueGED Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 I'll take it! Especially considering the effort before the 3rd period.
Randall Flagg Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Roy or Gerbe...Roy or Gerbe...I say Roy. Good call
Johnny DangerFace Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 great win, moving up those standings
thesportsbuff Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 FIRST NIAGARA CENTER IS ALIVE AGAIN!!!! THE SABRES ARE ALIVE AGAIN!!!!!
TheMatrix31 Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 I'll take that ###### all day. Nice finish in the third, Vanek should have nailed it to finish OT, but whatever...2 points.
K-9 Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Not pretty but I'll certainly take it. First Dallas loss when leading after two periods since 2009. At least that's what I thought I heard RJ say. Means nothing if they don't win tomorrow against a team they need to beat. GO SABRES!!!
TrueBlueGED Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 @BNHarrington Sabres down a goal with 4:15 left and the place is clearing out at the TV timeout. WHAT is up with you people? Whoops.
Randall Flagg Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 I feel like we should not have won that game... But we did... It's nice to win games we shouldn't than to lose games we should win!
kishoph Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Eleven out of the last twelve points, who'd of thunk it.
JJFIVEOH Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 LOL @ Harry Neale............ Michael Wider
... Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Eleven out of the last twelve points, who'd of thunk it. I'll admit it...not me.

I have no problems with the fans, 22 straight sell outs for a team that has played like crap until just recently.

I bet most of those tickets were bought before the team revealed its true colors, though, and people didn't want to waste their investment

kishoph Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 People can do what they want, I was simply making the point they missed a hell of a finish. No doubt, but a lot of people lost faith in this team before this recent streak. Myself I have never left a game early, even if the game was out of reach.
... Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 I bet most of those tickets were bought before the team revealed its true colors, though, and people didn't want to waste their investment I think this is true for a good percentage of the fans. I know for me, when I choose my mini-pack seats, the past several seasons I'll load up the late season games for two reasons: the drive is usually better, and the games tend to mean something. I was concerned that the late games I have would be for nothing this season, but, knock on wood, so far they're making it interesting.
kishoph Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Sabres out shot Dallas 16 - 4 through the 3rd and overtime.

Hopefully you get maximum enjoyment out of those games coming up, I think they can keep it interesting even if it doesn't end in the desired result.

Randall Flagg Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Sabres out shot Dallas 16 - 4 through the 3rd and overtime. Finally, some desperation, we've needed that for months.
... Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 BTW, don't they move into 10th with this win? 11th.
FogBat Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 And quotes are constantly overanalyzed. These guys throw comments out there with little to no thought but people want to read them as if they're plotted out to the extent of a presidential address. I didn't know that there was actually a difference between the two these days. As for the game itself, two points is two points. We'll take 'em!
JJFIVEOH Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 No offense to Lindy, but I want to hear what Patrick has to say.
