waldo Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 I've got both Thomas and Rask in another league I am in. That goal just totally FUBAR'd my goalie stats for the week.
Eleven Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 Do you seriously think that this being James Patrick's first game as a head coach has nothing to do with it? Yes. It has NOTHING to do with it, and on top of it, James Patrick's first game as a head coach is not tonight. Lindy Ruff is the head coach. He's just not behind the bench.
deluca67 Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 Best game this team has played in three seasons. Goes to show what playing with a little bass in their voice will do for a team.
K-9 Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 Anybody else keep hearing "post" sounds tonight? Is it something in the NBC transmission? Is McGuire doing something? Is it Milbury doing God knows what in the men's room? GO SABRES!!!
deluca67 Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 Yes. It has NOTHING to do with it, and on top of it, James Patrick's first game as a head coach is not tonight. Lindy Ruff is the head coach. He's just not behind the bench. You keep believing that if it makes you happy, This one was for Jimmy.
TheMatrix31 Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 It's foolish to think Lindy doesn't have a means of communication with the bench. I mean, c'mon. Dude's still the freakin' head coach.
darksabre Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 Goes to show what playing with a little bass in their voice will do for a team. I know Eleven disagrees with us tonight but I'm an armful of beers deep and caught up in the emotion of how much I'm loving this game.
waldo Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 I want to see more shots of Lindy in pain.. Maybe a couple of candids where some one makes him move around.
Eleven Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 I know Eleven disagrees with us tonight but I'm an armful of beers deep and caught up in the emotion of how much I'm loving this game. Loving this game, too. They're really playing for Lindy!
TrueBlueGED Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 Do you seriously think that this being James Patrick's first game as a head coach has nothing to do with it? No I don't. But that's really besides the point. The point is that 1 game is proof of nothing, in fact, it means less than nothing. If I have a gut feeling about a scratch off lottery ticket, buy it and win 10 grand...am I psychic? Of course not, and if I insinuated I was because of that one purchase, that would be utterly ridiculous.
K-9 Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 That's a nice look for Stafford right there. GO SABRES!!!
darksabre Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 It's foolish to think Lindy doesn't have a means of communication with the bench. I mean, c'mon. Dude's still the freakin' head coach. He's in Teppo's earpiece. But at best he can only provide insight and Patrick can use if he wants. This is Patrick's show. Stafford with a busted up nose. First time in his life?
deluca67 Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 I know Eleven disagrees with us tonight but I'm an armful of beers deep and caught up in the emotion of how much I'm loving this game. A reminder how much fun hockey can be to watch when the team plays like they care.
... Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 Lindy is not on the bench, period. He may be advising Patrick, he may have blessed the game-plan, but the General on the field is Patrick. It's the General in the battle with his men who leads and inspires. Haha!
darksabre Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 Loving this game, too. They're really playing for Lindy! You spin your way I'll spin mine. :)
Eleven Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 A reminder how much fun hockey can be to watch when the team plays like they care. This is probably the first time you've rooted for a win in quite some time; I'm glad you're having fun with it. EDIT: Nah, I'll take that one back.
Neo Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 our goalie cannot stop the puck and score the puck ... tweet@gisellebundchen
deluca67 Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 This is probably the first time you've rooted for a win in quite some time; I'm glad you're having fun with it. I always route for a win, I'm just more honest about them. Consistent efforts like tonight can bring real success. Problem is I think we have seen this show before.
K-9 Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 Did Roy just win a puck battle? GO SABRES!!!
darksabre Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 Derek Roy just won a puck battle. I'm gonna go finish off my bucket list before the rain of fire starts.
Eleven Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 I always route for a win, I'm just more honest about them. Consistent efforts like tonight can bring real success. Problem is I think we have seen this show before. I took it back...no backsies?
darksabre Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 Did Roy just win a puck battle? GO SABRES!!! I'm almost disgusted that it was that noticeable.
... Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 Ruff must be screaming into Teppo's ear "why haven't you shuffled the lines yet?! What's wrong with you guys?!"
Eleven Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 Derek Roy just won a puck battle. I'm gonna go finish off my bucket list before the rain of fire starts. Ha--I said something similar last week when Stafford went into the corner for a puck. Didn't come out with it, but he actually went in.
waldo Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 Did Roy just win a puck battle? GO SABRES!!! almost!
