ubkev Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Pretty sure his exact quote was "and that puck probably picked up speed after it was deflected..." HOW! HOW IN THE F--- CAN THAT POSSIBLY HAPPEN! ....I stated calmly in my living room.
JJFIVEOH Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Teams should start working on multi-deflection shots. Can you imagine how fast the puck would be going if it went off 3 or 4 sticks?

... Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Unless I'm banned again, I can't post from my Droid. I was going to say, that we have to appreciate these small steps...they made it out of the first period not losing... Not banned...good!

SwampD Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 I hate Doc Emerick, but his line,"borrowing the puck out is Ennis!" was pretty good.
... Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 COME ON! Don't get SLOPPY. Miller, even with his glove hand clearly not in sync with the rest of his body, is a MONKEY tonight!
wonderbread Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Man Emerick is all over the place with his commentary.
novascotiaguy Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Nice to see Miller back to his old form.
... Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 I have to say that I like how aggressive the Rangers are.
TheMatrix31 Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 I like the way we're hanging with these guys. Also looks like we have a little bit of bounce and quickness in our step. Kinda refreshing. Won't be surprised if this one ends 1-0 though.
darksabre Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 I have to say that I like how aggressive the Rangers are. I've enjoyed watching them this season. They play a style of hockey that isn't so much Boston physical but just physical enough to work. I know they were leading us wildly in hits in the 1st. I don't know if that has changed.
... Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 It's a matter of which team poops-out first, both on the second of back-to-backs. Okay, is it me or does Pominville not look at home right now?

... Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 WOW! Two periods, now, and they're not losing. Another small step.
bunomatic Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 No penalty on a follow through? Really. Its a high stick regardless isn't it?
K-9 Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Aside from that 20 seconds of running around in our own zone in the last minute, that was our best positional play in a long while. GO SABRES!!!
kishoph Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 They're staying with the Rangers, I give them credit for not just laying down like we've seen so many times this year. I can't believe that Leino was trying to pass the puck to the wing from the slot. Roy has really become a non factor for this team.
ubkev Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 No penalty on a follow through? Really. Its a high stick regardless isn't it? Yeah, pretty sure he cut him too...should've been a double and 4 minutes of feeling shame.

Okay, is it me or does Pominville not look at home right now? I agree on Pominville. No penalty on a follow through? Really. Its a high stick regardless isn't it? Nope, although, I thought it was only for a shot.

GO SABRES!!!
