TrueBlueGED Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Could it be a trade or is it really just the flu ? The deadline is 27 days away. What do you think? :D
K-9 Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Myers needs to celebrate his birthday with a monster game tonight. He's my prediction for first star. GO SABRES!!!
Kelly the Dog Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 "Stafford not on the ice for warm ups. Looks like Kassian takes staffs spot and Adam takes Vaneks... TheChimp Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 I haven't heard Sylvester and gare as excited during a game as they were last night. They counted four HUGE hits by Myers, and when Ennis leveled ...whatever his name was... they practically jumped out of the press box it sounded like. I didn't get to watch the game, but what it sounded like, that was pure intimidation by the Sabres. They really screwed up. See, now we know they CAN do it.
K-9 Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Tough time to get a whistle. Lundquist without a stick and our guy ready to make a play from behind the net when the whislte blew. GO SABRES!!!
SwampD Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 So, according to McGuire, if the D man is square to the player and has good lateral movement, he is allowed to put his stick between the forwards legs and trip him.
Derrico Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Decent start, some good chances. Only glaring mistake is Lenio's giveaway. Keep playing like this we'll be alright.
K-9 Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Nice backcheck by Ellis. And it pays off in a PP opportunity. GO SABRES!!!
biodork Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Man, between the locals who can finally go to the game and what I'm guessing is a large number of us without access to either NBC Sports or MSG, the GDT is thin tonight. Thank goodness for radio feeds!
K-9 Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Geez Sekera. WTF are you thinking? GO SABRES!!!
darksabre Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Jeeze, this team wins two games and thinks it can start playing fancy again. Come the ###### on. How do you not score on that 5 on 3?
kishoph Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Sekera broke a nail, he'll be out for a week.
K-9 Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 I'll go out on a limb and suggest the Rangers are a slightly better team than what the Sabres faced last night. GO SABRES!!!
Derrico Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Sekera broke a nail, he'll be out for a week. :clapping:
North Buffalo Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Sabres should do well tonight, Stafford is out :P
K-9 Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Rangers talking trash with Leino? Really? To get him off his game? I think that's funny. GO SABRES!!!
Derrico Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 It's a bang bang play but Goose should have put that in. Our season in a nutshell 8 million chances and 1.5 goals a game.
kishoph Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 They don't like Kaleta. What was the whistle for when Goose was in the crease, the puck was still loose. I see a lot of Sabres just going through the motions today, unlike last night. Ehrhoff with 4 SOG's, it's good to see him getting the puck through.
Derrico Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Some are going through the motions but I've liked our D tonight so far. Boyes has not looked good but the Hoff is rounding back into form. If Myers can keep playing the way he has the last few games then that is a nice top D pair.
ubkev Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 So, according to McGuire, if the D man is square to the player and has good lateral movement, he is allowed to put his stick between the forwards legs and trip him. McGuire also thinks a deflected puck can magically pick up speed, per his comment when the ref took that money shot to the face.
darksabre Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 If there's one thing I know, it's that Pierre McGuire is a freakin moron.

Get McNabb back and we'll have 2 great pairs!
