deluca67 Posted January 29, 2012 Report Posted January 29, 2012 Jarome Iginla will be a Maple Leaf. Steven Stamkos will end the season with 60 goals. The New York Islanders will make the playoffs on the final day. The Saint Louis Blues will finish atop of the Western Conference. Sidney Crosby will return for a handful of games before being forced to shut it down for the year.
JWell Posted January 29, 2012 Report Posted January 29, 2012 Derek Roy will be a Dallas Star. Sabres Fall enough and get 1st pick. Enroth plays basically the same # of games Miller does (from now till the end)
neverenough Posted January 29, 2012 Report Posted January 29, 2012 No moves will be made for the sabres.
inkman Posted January 29, 2012 Report Posted January 29, 2012 Enroth plays basically the same # of games Miller does (from now till the end) Not unless Lindy is fired. He's publicly stated he's going to ride Miller through the remainder of the season.
Sabres Fan in NS Posted January 29, 2012 Report Posted January 29, 2012 The Sabres will NOT fire DR and / or LR. No major trades will be made by the Sabres and they will NOT make the playoffs ... I know I'm really going out on a limb with that one. Sorry, DeLuca ... Crosby will not play again this season and maybe not ever again. Hecht will retire. The St. Louis Blues will win the cup.
deluca67 Posted January 29, 2012 Author Report Posted January 29, 2012 Not unless Lindy is fired. He's publicly stated he's going to ride Miller through the remainder of the season. DIdn't Enroth start two of the four games after he said that?
OverPowerYou Posted January 29, 2012 Report Posted January 29, 2012 29 teams will end up not winning the Stanley Cup
darksabre Posted January 29, 2012 Report Posted January 29, 2012 DIdn't Enroth start two of the four games after he said that? Something like that, but your counterpoint is correct.
Randall Flagg Posted January 29, 2012 Report Posted January 29, 2012 Sabres do not win two in a row all year, they will continue the general one win followed by three losses trend. Luke Adam remains at 20 points the rest of the season No changes made, and we start next year with same roster and front office. :(
Eleven Posted January 29, 2012 Report Posted January 29, 2012 DIdn't Enroth start two of the four games after he said that? Yep. Anyway, and I am not necessarily happy about the predictions: The Sabres will not make the deal that is needed. Stafford remains a Sabre. Miller remains a Sabre. Every team except for Saint Louis that has changed coaches will continue to suck, and even the Blues will fall in the second round. Kovy doesn't get to the second round. Again.
wonderbread Posted January 29, 2012 Report Posted January 29, 2012 The Sabres will race back in to the playoff race bolstered by trades involving Roy, Stafford and Leopold. However they will ultimately fall short of the playoffs finishing in 9th. Pegula and Co. Excited by the resurgence keep both DR and LR for next season.
thesportsbuff Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 Toronto makes the playoff. Kessel wins the rocket richard Buffalo wins six in a row in Feb/March to make playoffs seem possible. Vanek finishes with 35 goals Gerbe finishes with 20+ Ottawa falls out of the playoffs
Eleven Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 Toronto makes the playoff. Kessel wins the rocket richard Buffalo wins six in a row in Feb/March to make playoffs seem possible. Vanek finishes with 35 goals Gerbe finishes with 20+ Ottawa falls out of the playoffs Jack, I'm the resident target for pessimists here, but seriously, Gerbe with 20+? He's got FOUR so far!
thesportsbuff Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 Jack, I'm the resident target for pessimists here, but seriously, Gerbe with 20+? He's got FOUR so far! He had just six before the ASG last year... imo Gerbe is the best "lead by example" leader we have on the team. I don't think another strong second half is out of the question. Plus, if I end up being right, that probably means the Sabres are putting together a little run... he would need 16 goals in 33 games... it would help the cause anyway :flirt:
Samson's Flow Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 Jack, I'm the resident target for pessimists here, but seriously, Gerbe with 20+? He's got FOUR so far! He only picked Gerbe because he's the only player that gives a decent effort on the ice. Who was he going to pick - Roy?
Eleven Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 He only picked Gerbe because he's the only player that gives a decent effort on the ice. Who was he going to pick - Roy? I get that. And Gerbe isn't the only player giving an effort. But 20?!
Randall Flagg Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 I get that. And Gerbe isn't the only player giving an effort. But 20?! I agree, even after going on a tear last year, he only had 16 total, and he had more at the all star break. 20 won't happen.
Iron Crotch Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 He can score 20. Napoleon Gerbe can do anything. He could conquer Prussia if he wanted to.
Eleven Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 He can score 20. Napoleon Gerbe can do anything. He could conquer Prussia if he wanted to. Can he invade Russia during the winter?
Iron Crotch Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 Can he invade Russia during the winter? He can. And without weapons. Only hockey pucks and his fists of fury. He'll wear a Jofa for protection.
Neo Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 Sabres finish 12th in the east. Roy is dispatched. One of either Sekera, Guastad and Leopold are dispatched. Enroth plays more of the final 15 games than Miller. Hecht retires (ditto). Sidney watches the playoffs. Boston, two in a row. LR and DR are given the trade deadline, draft, off season, and 2012/2013. The Bills draft a cornerback because you can't have too many. Romney wins Florida.
deluca67 Posted January 30, 2012 Author Report Posted January 30, 2012 Toronto makes the playoff. Kessel wins the rocket richard Buffalo wins six in a row in Feb/March to make playoffs seem possible. Vanek finishes with 35 goals Gerbe finishes with 20+ Ottawa falls out of the playoffs I was thinking Ottawa will fall as well. They have played 3-4 more games then the teams below them.
calti Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 buffalo will rally wildly the 2nd half of the season and come within 1 point of the playoffs. crosby will retire. regier and ruff get one more year with a playoffs or else ultimatum. the bills win 4 games next year.
spndnchz Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 DIdn't Enroth start two of the four games after he said that? He said that to throw off the other team. He admitted he lies to the press from time to time when it may benefit the team.
