I’ve never seen a youth lacrosse league before. Are they common?

They definitively are now. Not when I was coming up (I'm 45).

I found out it's cheaper to smash my window if I lock my keys in my vehicle than to get a locksmith.

Window replacement $90

Locksmith $290

...but then you're picking glass out of your car for years.

My son has a rider on his insurance that covers keys locked in car.  He got the locksmith over a couple weeks ago.  Didn't cost him anything out of pocket.  (A few hours later I found the keys under his bed.  😮 )

Yesterday was just another normal day. I played a really crappy round of golf (so yes, normal day). Today I find out that I’m off to Arizona tomorrow for a second adoption. Just a tad bit hectic in this house right now.

Hopefully you like your new parents better than the old ones.  Do you actually have to move to AZ though to make this one happen?  😉

I remember watching this live

Was at that one.  Old man got tix to a few games from a buddy of his at the beginning of the season and it turned out that one was a pretty good one to go to.  We were in the 2nd last row of the entire building (3rd, if we count the SRO behind the Oranges) but there were no bad seats in that barn.  And still pretty cool to have witnessed history in the making in person, even though it wasn't the kind of history we wanted to necessarily be a part of.

People very often forget that it wasn't just Gretzky to get the hatty that night.  Nice to see the Twitterer note that Gilbert had a hatty as well.

"A standing ovation for Gilbert Perreault. As much as these folks are here to see Wayne Gretzky tonight, they know how much Perreault has contributed to the Buffalo Sabres franchise since its inception."

Rick's words are burned into my brain. Have it on tape and will have to listen in the AM to see if I got it right.

Flushable wipes. I rarely flush them cuz their not really great for plumbing, but they can easily extend the life of a shower by a day, day and a half. 😂

Hope you don’t set next to SwampD on an airplane.  🤣

Actually, you do. I smell like vanilla.

They are great for when you are out on the water, as well.

The last thing I want is the dude sitting next to me making me hungry.

First time at a Sandals. Took the day yesterday to drive around Barbados In a rental which was pretty cool.

Apparently they give discounts for repeat visits, so booked next year for Grenada and got some ridiculous amount off with a military discount plus the return guest discount. Gonna have a beachfront walkout villa there for 8 days next May. Pretty excited, probbaly get some scuba diving in that trip as well.

I went to one once maybe 8 years ago. They push those future visits very hard. We were interested but just haven’t had the chance to do one again.

They def push them, but at least there's some discount. I will say it's more expensive than other all inclusives, but I found the food to be splendid. I've eaten 2 dinners tonight from 2 different restaurants 😂

It's nice to do one of these on occasion as you really can just unwind unlike a lot of my other "vacations"

Two dinners is a must with all the special drinks you can and should be consuming.

How goes it with your new child ?  Adopted 2 girls as babies myself. One is now a nurse. The other is in the Carpenters union. God bless for doing that.

She has a baptism tomorrow so she’s meeting a bunch of family for the first time. Best of all though is that she’s been sleeping through the night for about 10 days now. Game changer. It’s kind of strange now that her brother wakes up before her.

Both better be joining your girls in the work force soon. It’s time to contribute.
