He IS the Peter Pan ride.  Dude isn't growing up, and he's on his eighth career or so.  It's pretty awesome.

😂😂 It sure is, but it has an incredibly long wait time, so I haven't gone as of yet.

I had two when I was born, but I lost one in my 30s and one in my 40s.

Excellent post. It didn't seem right to like the post. But it also didn't seem right to use the sad icon either based on the context. So take a karma beer you earned it.

Oh I was just screwing around.  I'm very fortunate that they were with me for so long.

The night is beautiful. Mrs. iT and I had our inaugural match of light-up bocce.

She still has physical issues to overcome so I let her fetch her own tosses until she was tired and then I fetched.

If you don’t own light-up bocce then you’re missing great fun.96A268A9-32BB-4432-A144-D4DAB77D142B.thumb.jpeg.2917783473448a2f1aa667e9f0f4e36d.jpeg

I wouldn't call this awesome as I'm not a fan of the band, but @Sabres Fan in NS might:

I love Freddie, which is well known.

He was fun.

That concert was the last time they played live, as Freddie was no longer up to the grind of touring and performing live at all at that point.

He was fantastic live and couldn’t be his best any longer.

So awesome and also sad.

My sound system.  Most of it is modified and hand built audiophile stuff.  I could never sell it for what it’s really worth from a performance perspective.

Listening to Wynton Marsalis with The Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra while watching the Florida playoff.

Incredible!

I just picked up a Suteki Track 10 mixte, 49 cm frame size. It was sitting by the curb on big trash night.

Shimano 600 derailleurs, full (perfect) fenders. Covered in dust and the tires have dry rot, but they hold air. As far as I can tell everything is complete and original. On the stand it shifts perfectly and the brakes are well adjusted.

It's gorgeous but too small for me. Great bike porn though.

My wife gave birth to our first child this morning, so that's one more Sabres fan. My only wish is that he never suffers thought a playoff drought of more than two seasons.

Fantastic.

As an old friend said to me:  it's the hardest thing you'll ever do, but also the most rewarding thing you'll ever do.

The next 10 weeks or so will be rough, but it gets much easier once they start sleeping through the night.

In the meantime, stock up on diapers, wipes, laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent, and buy a lightweight, well-made, collapsible stroller that folds up and fits in the car easily and has a spacious and sturdy cargo basket under the seat.  Getting out of the house will be really good for all 3 of you.  And only have company in your house if your wife is 100% on board with it.

Good luck!

We are having a new washer delivered today.

In the past they would give you a window of 5 hours in the AM or PM.

These people have an app that is updated in real time.  I know what delivery slot we are and how far along they are in their route.  I know the stop before us in 12 KM away and it will take 15 minutes for them to get here once they are finished there.  I will know within about 45 minutes of their arrival.

I tend to hate technology and how it's taking over our lives and how these apps are designed basically to spy on us ... this app is awesome thought.
