Kelly the Dog Posted August 9, 2012 Report Posted August 9, 2012 I thought it was pretty awesome that today Gergs offered $5 to anyone who unfollowed his sister on Twitter. ;) Zemgus Girgensons @zemgus94 giving away 5 dollars to everyone who unfollows my sister @GirgensoneA Quote

frissonic Posted August 9, 2012 Report Posted August 9, 2012 Perseid meteor shower peaks Saturday night/Sunday morning. Silent streaks of colored beams that paint the black, speckled sky. Yah. Photo ops! Quote

MattPie Posted August 9, 2012 Report Posted August 9, 2012 sweet deal. Thanks!!! Note that I think this one is looking like 50-100/hr (depending on who you read), so it's not going to be 4th of July up there, just the occaisional shooting star. Quote

THAT was a good meteor shower. Quote
dEnnis the Menace Posted August 9, 2012 Report Posted August 9, 2012 It's still something I've always wanted to see. Me and the girlfriend are going to be in Buffalo for a wedding, so after the reception and what not, her and I can go sit and watch this for a bit. Quote

SwampD Posted August 11, 2012 Report Posted August 11, 2012 Ya know what I'm finding awesome lately,.. all these people I know who thought Facebook was so great because it put them back in touch with so many people from their past, only to find out now that there was a reason they lost touch with them in the first place. Listening to their Facebook FaceoffsTM put me right back in middle school. Quote
Eleven Posted August 11, 2012 Report Posted August 11, 2012 Ok. My photographer friend Viktoria is traveling from Buffalo to Alaska (and back) by car, with her handicapped dog, Moose, a tent, a shotgun, and her camera. Here's day three of her travels: http://viktoriaciostek.com/home/day3/ If you love dogs (I don't), love landscape photography (I do), or both, well, shameless plug for her Kickstarter campaign: Quote
