josie Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 lol http://nhl.si.com/20...hristmas-video/ The spinning goalies in the beginning. Just awesome. Like fat little snowflakes. This is my hometown. Land of dropping a giant fiberglass Walleye in lieu of a shiny ball on New Years. Apparently we have a rather tantrum-y coach on our ECHL team. So we're having an "Anger Management" night, complete with tirading coach bobblehead. I wish I was in town then. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/toledo-walleye-giveaway-bobblehead-depicting-head-coach-tirade-133614919--nhl.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter Quote

That was classic for anyone, but a junior team to pull that off is sweet. And after watching the figure skaters in the background...I have to go google Jamie Sale and see what she is up to.... Quote

Stoner Posted December 17, 2013 Report Posted December 17, 2013 (edited) "Evacuate Earth" on the National Geographic Channel. It's not a new show, but I watched it for the first time the other night. I couldn't stop watching, both because it was so smart and so dumb, like Carrie Matheson. Earth has 75 years to get its ######, and its ark, together, before a neutron star eats us alive like d4rk eating a garbage plate. The idea is to fly the ark to an earth-like planet (Earth 2) about 80-100 light years away, and allow mankind to go on. While the nations of the world work at preparing this ship that's three times the size of Manhattan, some rich ###### try to build their own. It was pretty awesome when their anti-matter machine messed them up big time at launch. Edited December 17, 2013 by PASabreFan Quote
josie Posted December 17, 2013 Report Posted December 17, 2013 ...together, before a neutron star eats us alive like d4rk eating a garbage plate. Well, in that case, I'm not too worried, because everything will reappear pretty quickly. But seriously, sounds interesting. Netflix has Blackfish right now too- a doc about the orca Tilikum (and others) who were violent towards/killing their trainers at Seaworld. Super fascinating stuff. Pretty gory/gutwrenching, too... watch at your own discretion. Quote
