papazoid Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 like we need more embarrassment...... Internet sports book Bovada has posted a few fun props for Thursday’s All-Star Fantasy Draft (8 p.m. ET NBCSP, TSN, RDS). Who will be picked last? Four co-favorites (13/2) here – Jamie Benn, Jason Pominville, Logan Couture and Jordan Eberle. http://prohockeytalk...asy-draft-odds/
Who Else? Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 Alfreddson has class he'll pick him. Oh wait there was that shorthanded OT goal in his face.
shrader Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 This is not about you papazoid, but my god, that is the most retarded subject I've ever seen (and I hope I'm not offending retarded people by associating them with something this stupid). They really will bet on anything, won't they?
nobody Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 You might think having two division rivals as the captains may mean they pick him a little earlier than last since they know him better. Or maybe that is why they don't want him.
korab rules Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 Since their won't be any body contact, Pommers should be quite effective.
SDS Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 11 years in the Buffalo Sabres organization, 1st time all-star... and fans STILL can't spell his friggin' name. He ain't Russian for cryin' out loud.
DumbPuck Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 Since their won't be any body contact, Pommers should be quite effective. Not sure if this is sarcasm ... if not .. I completely agree. I think Pommers would be awesome in a league with no physical contact ... like All Star games.
biodork Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 11 years in the Buffalo Sabres organization, 1st time all-star... and fans STILL can't spell his friggin' name. He ain't Russian for cryin' out loud. If I could give you +1, I would.
LGR4GM Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 I'd bet money pommers goes before the bottom 4
RazielSabre Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 11 years in the Buffalo Sabres organization, 1st time all-star... and fans STILL can't spell his friggin' name. He ain't Russian for cryin' out loud. No but his not exactly going slowly either! bu-dum-bum tish. Sorry for that, its late here and I need sleep.
fan2456 Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 This is not about you papazoid, but my god, that is the most retarded subject I've ever seen (and I hope I'm not offending retarded people by associating them with something this stupid). They really will bet on anything, won't they? You should be ashamed: Mentally Challenged. Since their won't be any body contact, Pommers should be quite effective. :worthy: He won't even have to back into his checks.
deluca67 Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 I would be begging to be picked last, don't they get a car?
Weave Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 I would be begging to be picked last, don't they get a car? Last year it was a Hyundai if I recall correctly. Not exactly what a young man with millions to spend is hoping for.
darksabre Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Last year it was a Hyundai if I recall correctly. Not exactly what a young man with millions to spend is hoping for. Yes but it is safe, boring and reasonably priced. Just like Pommers.
Eleven Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Leading scorer on a team without a freaking center. Stepped up last night (I know that half of you were predicting--not hoping--but predicting that he'd fail). What a loser, right? There's so much to complain about, and people are going to complain about Jason Pominville? Geez.
fan2456 Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 ...........................................what ever! We're the only ones who might even care, except maybe his family. Still he's there and about 95% of the players in the league aren't.
rickshaw Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Pommers has been good this year. He deserves to go to the game. As for last pick, I'm guessing it could be Alex Edler.
fan2456 Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Almost all real hockey fans know who Pommers is. Who knows this clown? Jason Brough? " Online bookmaker posts All-Star Fantasy Draft Odds" So Pommers is making 5mil this year, and playing great an a terrible team. This clown works as an online bookmaker?.....................Who cares what this loser thinks? Yea, as I mentioned above, Pommers has faults in his game, but on a well balanced team his lack of physical play wouldn't be noticed.
Samson's Flow Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Pommers has been good this year. He deserves to go to the game. As for last pick, I'm guessing it could be Alex Edler. Edler is a pretty legit defenseman this year. I don't know who the rest of the dman all stars are, but there's gotta be someone else lower on the totem pole. Then again, the only reason I recognize Edler is because he's been tearing it up on my fantasy team this year
qwksndmonster Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Yes but it is safe, boring and reasonably priced. Just like Pommers. Debatable.
drnkirishone Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 guessing one of the young players goes last
Samson's Flow Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 guessing one of the young players goes last That's what i'm thinking. No way a veteran player gets snubbed over a f'n new guy. The whole draft concept is just like picking teams for kickball - you pick your buddy with the bum leg before the new kid in town out of loyalty
rickshaw Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Edler is a pretty legit defenseman this year. I don't know who the rest of the dman all stars are, but there's gotta be someone else lower on the totem pole. Then again, the only reason I recognize Edler is because he's been tearing it up on my fantasy team this year  Edler is a fantastic dman. He's solid in his own end, has a booming shot and he's a very good hitter. In the playoffs last year he had 2 broken fingers I think and a bum shoulder otherwise he would have been more noticeable. The reason he may be piked last is because of the "west coast" factor. He's better than some others on the team but time will tell. He's so quiet. As I type this though, Alfie is a fellow countryman, he'll have the Sedins on his team too (no way Chara picks a Canuck) so the twins will make sure Alfie picks him. But maybe he'll get the car anyway. I'm rambling.
LGR4GM Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Pommers is such a good player and guy. this team would be ten times worse without him.
