Gramps Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Miller just took a high slapshot from MAG and left the morning skate ...
FolignosJock Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Painful or not, I'll be watching, Anyone else miss Tim Connolly like I do, (big fan) One thing you could say about Connolly, he was always a handful for the opposition... NO
obstructedorangeseats Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Miller just took a high slapshot from MAG and left the morning skate ... Naturally, the one time a Sabres defenseman manages to fire a shot in the vicinity of the net...ugh.
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Miller just took a high slapshot from MAG and left the morning skate ... The Buffalo Munchausens

darksabre Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 If only Connolly wore a helmet with exterior padding. :w00t:
Figster Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 If only Connolly wore a helmet with exterior padding. lol :w00t: Hey man, I've improvised from exterior outer padding to a liquid inner padding, better displacement properties, would help counter balance the sloshing of the brain, hehe, You made me spill my coffee everywhere...
R_Dudley Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Well, well another game and another Son's basketball practice. My new survive the Sabres rules apply, DVR the game, get home from practice late around 9:40ish, check the score and then this board to decide whether it's even worth my time watching or to steal a Lindyism just chuck it into the ol' trash can and move on. Thats the way I'm dealing with it until they decide they actually want to play hockey again.
... Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Miller just took a high slapshot from MAG and left the morning skate ... I don't know whether to be happy MAGs got a shot on net, or sad that Miller was hurt. In other news, "We may have to win a game, 1-0". Yeah, that makes me want to watch. Thanks, Lindy.

chileanseabass Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Sabres lose 4-2 with both goals coming from the Adam-Ellis-McCormick line
Figster Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Sabres lose 4-2 with both goals coming from the Adam-Ellis-McCormick line Sabres win 4-2, Big Tyler Myers with a hat trick (Lindy lets it all hang out) Lets go for broke Boyes...
LaFontaineToMogilny Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Since Lindy Ruff wants a 1-0 victory I am predicting a 14 - 8 blowout for the Sabres
Iron Crotch Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Regehr and the Hoff both back for the Sabres tonight. Big Joe sent back down to Rochester: http://blogs.buffalonews.com/sabres/2012/01/miller-leaves-practice-early-after-getting-hit-by-shot-regehr-to-return-to-sabres-tonight.html Having the Hoff back on the power play and Regehr on the PK really helps.
R_Dudley Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Shouldn't you be working out the details to take over GM duty during the All Star Break? Already done, fire both DR and LR, take over both roles interim and get behind the bench(and the scenes) and find out who really wants to play hockey and win verse collecting a paycheck although I already have at least 4 players that will be traded before deadline for stock piling picks, other players(just to rid the bad attitudes) or just for cap space. Bring up several of the kids for the rest of the year that have looked promising and figure out who we can build around from the farm or who else is trade bait for the ultimate summer clean house makeover this team absolutely needs to break the country club atmosphere that appears to exist in that gorgeous new clubhouse. Hell I am actually thinking of removing the logo and moving us into the visitors quarters and the visitor teams into our quarters for games until the team decides to play like it's their house, they shive a git and earn the right to have such a nice room. Is that enough for starters.

You mean the same Ehrhoff who has a whopping 7 PP points in 37 games this year(including 1 PP goal with the cannon I heard about all summer).
R_Dudley Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 You mean the same Ehrhoff who has a whopping 7 PP points in 37 games this year(including 1 PP goal with the cannon I heard about all summer). Yeah i know the scoring wasn't what we expected but I have to admit he was one of the few defensemen that was standing up out there and pushing back before he was hurt.
Who Else? Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Yeah i know the scoring wasn't what we expected but I have to admit he was one of the few defensemen that was standing up out there and pushing back before he was hurt. Yeah he just has to stop taking fights on and letting those with that role skate around like pansies.
korab rules Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 You mean the same Ehrhoff who has a whopping 7 PP points in 37 games this year(including 1 PP goal with the cannon I heard about all summer). I think you missed the part where the opposing team's PKers have been overplaying him so he couldn't get his shot off, in direct response to him booming pucks and killing it in the preseason.
TrueBlueGED Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 You mean the same Ehrhoff who has a whopping 7 PP points in 37 games this year(including 1 PP goal with the cannon I heard about all summer). Are you kidding me? Ehrhoff's shot on the powerplay has been wicked and a big part of the reason we're so effective on it......or it was.....in the preseason...... :(
Iron Crotch Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 You mean the same Ehrhoff who has a whopping 7 PP points in 37 games this year(including 1 PP goal with the cannon I heard about all summer). Well he leads our d-men in points, assists, power play assists (tied with MAG), and power play points (again tied with MAG), so yeah it is nice having him back. You'd rather have Finley in there?

Is that enough for starters. You've got my vote. Plus you don't even have to fire DR! Just help him put his stuff into his '94 Corsica.

That's it, im going to figure out a surgical procedure where I can open the skull and pad the meninges of all NHL players. Ill test this first procedure on darcy to see how it goes :)

Gragnani actually got his shot on net. 2. Miller stopped the shot. :P Well, I'm going to the game tonight and it's at least partly out of a sense of obligation. Such a good Catholic boy.... My prediction: Enter the third tied 1-1, NJ scores a PP goal early in the third, Vanek gets a penalty with 2:38 left (a hook in the offensive zone) and the Devils score another PP to ice it.
