Yes.  This was much more like a spicy Manhattan than a lemony julep, though.

I will get an approximation of the recipe for you and weave!

Interesting.  Sounds tasty!

*Spicy like spiced, not spicy like hot.

All right, jerko:

Over two muddled lemon slices and ice in a double old-fashioned:

3 oz bourbon

1 oz ginger liquor

1 barspoon falernum.

Shake it, pour it.

Delicious.

Now we can be friends again. :P

Falernum.  Never heard of it.  I guess I'll add it to the list of things I must have.

The biggest problem is trying to extract the liqueur out of a ginger.  (It should be liqueur and not liquor; I wasn't paying attention to auto-mistake.)

Bio already said no, so you have to find a different ginger.

Damn.  Bio is well infused.  This makes it more difficult.

Are you Pierce and I'm McIntyre?  Or is it the other way?  I'm getting confused about our schtick.

Isn't this the area between the you-know-what and the other-things?

What is your favorite "cheap" beer? Mine is PBR. Not necessarily for the flavor. Mainly because I can tolerate it. Natural Light makes me want to puke.

I'm pretty much even on Molson/Genny/Pabst/Coors. I think I like regular Coors best but don't tell anyone I said that.

There was a Genny sale at the Wegmans in Ithaca on your birthday.  They had an entire endcap dedicated to it.  They were thinking of you man.
