dEnnis the Menace Posted December 6, 2013 Report Posted December 6, 2013 (edited) Like Frank's Red Hot? but spicier. with more flavor. Edited December 6, 2013 by dEnnis the Menace Quote
MattPie Posted December 6, 2013 Report Posted December 6, 2013 but spicier. with more flavor. I prefer Franks, but both have their place. Sriracha tends to overpower stuff, and being thicker it's a lot harder to distribute evenly. But, my wife stocked up when she heard anyway, she likes it more than me. Quote
inkman Posted December 6, 2013 Report Posted December 6, 2013 Like Frank's Red Hot? And sweeter. No likey!! Quote
Weave Posted December 6, 2013 Author Report Posted December 6, 2013 Like Frank's Red Hot? Frank's is thin vinegary insipid stuff, good for wings and not much else. Sriracha is overhyped but a vastly superior condiment. Quote
SwampD Posted December 6, 2013 Report Posted December 6, 2013 Frank's is thin vinegary insipid stuff, good for wings and not much else. Sriracha is overhyped but a vastly superior condiment. Inks right. It's too sweet. Gimme Red Hot any day. Quote
MattPie Posted December 6, 2013 Report Posted December 6, 2013 Sammich. Whole wheat bread (not that great though, just mushy), Muenster, arugula, Weber's mustard, and Lebanon Bologna. Quote
biodork Posted December 6, 2013 Report Posted December 6, 2013 Sammich. Whole wheat bread (not that great though, just mushy), Muenster, arugula, Weber's mustard, and Lebanon Bologna. I love Muenster cheese. Grossly under-utilized in sandwich-making, IMO. Quote

Stoner Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 Doesn't anyone here ever eat a cheap yellow mustard Stroehmann's white bread sandwich with a glass of grape Kool Aid? Bunch of pretentious foodies. Quote

Stoner Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 We eat because we're sad. I believe it. I've tried throughout this year to go on a strict vegan diet. I can do it for awhile, but I find it impossible to sustain because of the lack of psychological pleasure. I'm back to a realistic approach of eating mostly healthy with some naughty stuff in moderation. To wit, back on topic, I made a vegetarian chili yesterday, but mixed up the beans to include black eyed peas, white beans, traditional kidney beans, pink beans and some garbanzos. It was great, but I had to toss in the sharp cheddar chunks. Quote
