Bought a bunch of discounted Easter chocolate. So I’m munching on that while watching old classic horror movies from the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s. Finding them on Tubi, YouTube, and Crackle. I try to watch one most late nights. Simple pleasures.

Vodka, seltzer, splash of cran, splash of lemonaide (a little too much.)

 

This whole Covid thing has got me to the point where I now get anxious if my second to last bottle of vodka is almost gone.

Funny,.  My wife and I don't panic about toilet paper, food.  But when we're down to our last bottle of Vodka or Bourbon, it's like our hair is on fire.  We goto to go to the store.  We goto got to the store

Well, saffron would've been nice, but we are quarantined in upstate NY, pretty far from the closest saffron stash.  I seasoned with salt, pepper, paprika, parsley, rosemary and a little garlic.

The inferior substitute was splenda instead of sweet'n'low (not paella related).

I once in my youth, stole my friends father's bottle of knob creek, we thought we were badass. 

We mixed it with root beet and I dubbed the drink "A ***** knob" 

Now in my more matured age, I realized we ruined a very good bottle with a mixer.

Schnitzel. My first time giving it a go. Parsley, nutmeg, apple. With some sauerkraut. And pork.

I'm about to crack a Genny Ruby Red Kolsh for my 4:30 meeting.  Sorry, if you are ***** enough to schedule a 4:30 meeting when most of us are at work by 6:30 am, I'm allowed to drink what I want at said meeting.

I'd kill for a good pizza dough recipe. It seems like I've tried them all with poor to adequate results. Unfortunately all I have is all purpose flour, and I suspect that is the issue.

Wow, I pounded that.  Washed it down with a glass bottle Mexican Coke, too.  If this were a 1970s movie, I'd be smoking in bed while the lady gets up and covers herself with a bedsheet to go to the bathroom.
