Weave Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Let's see if we can give this thread a long run. Post up what you are consuming, restaurant, homemade, just something you are really enjoying at the moment, whatever...... It is Saturday afternoon. The wife is not home. And I have no plans. For lunch I just made myself a plate of Yancy's Fancy Bergenost cheese, good pepperoni, and an assortment of crackers. Opened a bottle of Ovila Saison to quench my thirst. Life is good. How about you? Quote
BuffaloSoldier2010 Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Left over zonies from last nights 3:30 am order, and some OJ leftover from lastnight. Livin the college dream. Quote

inkman Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Good & Plenty, Parmesan Goldfish crackers, 24 oz Pepsi max. Apparently, I hate my body. 1 Quote
Derrico Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Had the boys over for drinks last night which inevitably led to ordering some pizza. Now I'm putting in extra time at the office eating cold, stale pizza and feeling like sh*t. I've got a prime rib roast ready to go for tomorrow though. Quote
nfreeman Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 (edited) A bagel feast from what I believe to be the best bagel place on the planet, which is 2.5 blocks from my house. Just made cheese quesadillas and chocolate milk for the kids. Derek Roy can't take everything from me. And: I'm making wings tomorrow night for the NFL games. Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 I'm debating whether to watch the game at the bar tonight, or fire up a leg of lamb to pick on for the weekend and the football games tomorrow. Usually only do it for Easter, but I have a hankerin. Stuff it with garlic cloves and Pecorino Romano and rub it with rosemary, sage and pepper. Hmm....Sabres, or leg of lamb? Quote

Only one of those choices is going to be satisfying when it's over. Quote
Eleven Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 (edited) So here's what I came up with: Chicken breast that came with some honey mustard for dipping, but instead, I'm using some bacon jam* from an unopened jar (well, it was unopened) tucked away in my office for a day when I need to combat blandness. And some broccoli. *Gotta try this. http://www.skilletbaconjam.com Edited January 21, 2012 by Eleven Quote

wonderbread Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Vodka & tonic. Tired of beer. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 I am about to enjoy a gourmet grilled ham & cheese sandwich with an apple, banana, and some steamfresh broccoli for dinner. The general healthiness of this meal will be destroyed with some Blue Moon Winter Abbey Ale, and depending on how awful the game is later, some Crown Royal. Quote
Rox11 Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 I like the Alpine Spring. The Winter Lager is all done here - and loved that TOO much! - so onto this. It will be a good warmer weather beer IMO. Quote
