spndnchz Posted January 20, 2012 Author Report Posted January 20, 2012 Kaleta to the dressing room. Mercy killing?
biodork Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 Great one of the few guys who play like they GAF. Hurt Seriously. As much as people rag on them, Patty and Goose are important on the PK and PP.
wonderbread Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 Kaleta to the dressing room. Mercy killing? Don't worry Stafford's got this.
Koomkie Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 is vanek playing tonight? if he is hurt he needs to sit.
darksabre Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 Don't worry Stafford's got this. I know :(
kishoph Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 Not true. You can't cover it with anything in the crease. At first I thought so too (that's what the rulebook says), but on TSN they explained that if the player doesn't use his hand it's a good play. Of course they could be wrong along with the Officals.
spndnchz Posted January 20, 2012 Author Report Posted January 20, 2012 I hate 2 say it but this game is winnable.
biodork Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 I hate 2 say it but this game is winnable. I know. And I was kind of looking forward to watching The Princess Bride, too.
itbeatswalking Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 Look at that save on leino. That's from a terrible goalie. Miller needs to take notes

Of course they could be wrong along with the Officals. TSN is wrong. Briere got a PS in the Classic and the Ranger didn't use his hand.
wonderbread Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 I know. And I was kind of looking forward to watching The Princess Bride, too. I love that movie.
themaze2332 Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 Dear Myers, shoot instead of pass. Thanks.
spndnchz Posted January 20, 2012 Author Report Posted January 20, 2012 12 seconds. Time for the patented play! oh wait we don't have Goose to win the faceoff. nevermind
wonderbread Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 Look at that save on leino. That's from a terrible goalie. Miller needs to take notes His stick save in the first was a ridiculous stop.
biodork Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 I love that movie. Eleven is the one who made me think of it, lol. Of course, with a close 2-1 game and not an embarrassing 5-0 game I feel compelled to continue watching.
kishoph Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 TSN is wrong. Briere got a PS in the Classic and the Ranger didn't use his hand. I can't disagree with you, but why would the Officials not call it ? Maybe they're starting to feel sorry for the Sabres.
spndnchz Posted January 20, 2012 Author Report Posted January 20, 2012 So funny listening to announcers when the commercial is on.
themaze2332 Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 Look at that save on leino. That's from a terrible goalie. Miller needs to take notes Miller is pretty good when it comes to up close play. It is far away play that is his weakness....blue line shots and shots from the faceoff dot are certainly not his strength.
Koomkie Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 His stick save in the first was a ridiculous stop. yeah that was prettttttty
spndnchz Posted January 20, 2012 Author Report Posted January 20, 2012 Review of no goal: At 11:56 of the second period in the Sabres/Jets game, the NHL Situation Room initiated a video review following a scrum in front of the Jets net. The referee had determined on the ice that there was goaltender interference and thus there was no review. According to rule 69.3 "If an attacking player initiates contact with a goalkeeper, incidental or otherwise, while the goalkeeper is in his goal crease, and a goal is scored, the goal will be disallowed." No Goal, No Penalty.
SwampD Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 I can't disagree with you, but why would the Officials not call it ? Maybe they're starting to feel sorry for the Sabres. Yeah. I think they just lost sight of it and blew the whistle. I don't want their pity,.. wait,.. actually, I think I'll take it. EDIT: nevermind. THX chz
Koomkie Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 observation.....we are really bad at getting shots in from the point. and i really can't stand the off the backboard shot/pass...i wish we could get a shot through. and also, how do we never have a third guy high when we carry it in? everytime all three of our forwards are inside of the faceoff dots and a nice juicy rebound ALWAYS strolls out into the slot. am i the only one seeing this? how can ruff not realize a guy needs to hesitate and hold back to get that rebound shot off?
