Things are going to have to start turning around, and it needs to start tonight, every loss makes it less likely we'll make the play-offs. A winning streak is a necessity to make it to the post season. I haven't tried to crunch numbers, but I can't imagine getting there without stringing some wins together would be possible.

The Sabres have suffered a lot of injuries, but I think that when Pegula, Black and Ruff use it as an excuse for the main reason why this team is so ineffective, it is counter productive. I believe that it's giving the players a way out of being accountable, if the Owner, President and the Coach are using it as an excuse, what 's going to stop the players from doing the same. The injuries hurt, but its something that happens throughout the NHL. There's more wrong with this team than just the injuries and it doesn't seem like any of it's being addressed, instead it's just being swept under the injury rug.

I'm usually a pretty optimistic person, but the teams play has really caused my optimism for the Sabres success this season fade game by game.

GO SABRES :w00t:

No FIOS available here yet or that probably would've been my choice. This talk of heated Dish's and garbage bags has me a little concerned. I've held up my end as a fan. Hope the Sabres make it worth the trouble tonight!

Fios is on my bad side here in Central PA...as of midnight last night, we lost CBS, the same way the Buffalonians lost MSG...no end in sight...no football for me this weekend without having to leave the house..

Ugh.

Let's go here boys. Listen to Pegs a start anew. I don't want to seem like a clueless optimist but this season can be salvaged. Let's string together 2 wins in the next two nights. It's going to be a tough week next week.

Start hot. start fresh. help our our goaltender by spending more time in the offensive zone. Initiate the contact. Drop the gloves if need be. Pour it on, let's go here.

I feel as though your post has just fallen on deaf ears. Let's hope I'm wrong.

Man this already sounds like a road game, lol. Buffalo fans are gonna have to step up to compete vocally with the Leafs fans... Let's hope the team gives them a reason to cheer.

Yeah!!!!!!

The team came ready to play tonight. Some lucky breaks (e.g., Goose with the seeing eye shot), but honestly, we've had a lot of bad breaks lately so the hockey gods are just evening things up!

Looks like no McCormick tonight.

Just off the defensemans leg and in.

I am keeping emotionally distant; this is only the beginning of the first. Let's see how they look second half of the second (and third).

So far these guys don't look like the sabres we've all come to love so much. They are playing desperate hockey and out working the leafs. Imagine that. I likey.
