26CornerBlitz Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 Prediction: Caps go 0-2 to finish the season with 88 points Sabres go 1-1-1 to finish the season with 89 points 1st round: Sabres vs Rangers
Wyldnwoody44 Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 Care bears are FN scary!!! Four guys you wouldn't want with you while stormin' a fortress defended by CareBears... By Posdeidon...do you mean the god, or the cruise ship that sank after getting hit by a rogue wave? I kid, I kid!!! :flirt: Haha touche, actually that is a good question ;)
Guest Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 Careful, dude. You only got Skittles. That dude's got the gun. Big deal....I ain't goin out like no punk bitch!!! Maybe I'll get banned...oooooh, whatever would I do with my life if that happened. Somehow people think talking down to people who make negative comments is gonna make the world a better place.
qwksndmonster Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 You know, respect and stuff. Like where you can post an opinion without being dissected, analyzed, and then attacked from all sides by someone who believes differently or misinterprets you. Nice. :) I joined on July first of last summer and the board was very positive and nice until Lucic brought on The Dark Months... Big deal....I ain't goin out like no punk bitch!!! Maybe I'll get banned...oooooh, whatever would I do with my life if that happened. Somehow people think talking down to people who make negative comments is gonna make the world a better place. Quoting House of Pain
Guest Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 Well then, ###### all of you!!! I'm sorry, I didn't mean that... Now this hurt my feelings.
Jsixspd Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 The Lightning smacked the Caps in regulation tonight!!! No points for the Caps. Zero. Zilch. Here's Willie Wonka explaining the situation to Ovechkin.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5QGkOGZubQ :D
SDS Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 Nothing tough about them at all, unless you're taking them that way. Just thought a moderator would have a little more class to people that post on his board. Maybe you could show some respect to your fellow posters who have persevered through a roller-coaster season and just wait for the season to be over before you declare it to be over...
TheChimp Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 Maybe you could show some respect to your fellow posters who have persevered through a roller-coaster season and just wait for the season to be over before you declare it to be over... Oh brother.
Derrico Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 About the time that posts in the "truce" thread turned into Beowulf chapters I'd had enough for the day. Maybe you are right but the last thing I want tonight is that crap from either side spilling into more threads. Good thing I took a couple days off from this board. Prediction: Caps go 0-2 to finish the season with 88 points Sabres go 1-1-1 to finish the season with 89 points 1st round: Sabres vs Rangers Wow, talk about backing your way into the playoffs, but I'd still take that :D
TheChimp Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 With Ehrhoff out, and possibly Myers, too, I'm sorry, but this is truly a mountain facing the Sabres. I don't see the Caps losing to both Florida and NYR.
nfreeman Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 Holy cow it's just pissy all over the place. Anyway: Stamkos, giver of hope!!! Hard to believe the Sabres could've gotten him for Roy and a #2.
... It's a race for 92 points - this isn't over until Saturday. Washington and Buffalo share a remarkably similar last three games, with the edge, I'd argue, going to Buffalo since they have Toronto. Washington blew the "gimme" game of their three tonight. Florida is STILL in play technically, although of the three teams vying for the last two slots, they have the "easiest" remaining three games.

Hard to believe the Sabres could've gotten him for Roy and a #2. Stamkos was huge. Tampa Bay seemed on fire for their final home game even though they've already been eliminated from the playoffs - too bad the Sabres, who actually had/have something to play FOR, were mostly lifeless and listless Friday and Saturday night, with the exception of the Stafford line of course.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 Nice one Haha, classic, I thought wed have to throw in boyes too tho
X. Benedict Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 It's a race for 92 points - It's a turtle derby...but still a race!
TheChimp Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 So is Stamkos the guy we all thought Crosby would be? The one that actually makes Gretzky take notice?
Guest Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 Well the Philly game may have just gotten a little easier as Briere and Grossman are both gonna miss the rest of the season after a brutal game against the Pens tonight.
bunomatic Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 There's still hope people. You don't have hope, you don't have squat.
TheChimp Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 Well the Philly game may have just gotten a little easier as Briere and Grossman are both gonna miss the rest of the season after a brutal game against the Pens tonight. Another thing in the Sabres' favor is the fact that Philly kicks the poop out of the Pens in the Pens' arena, so their fight for home-ice won;t be so brutal.

It's called the Ennis line thank you very much :P

I'll try to behave, but do I have to show respect to the many other posters who believe the season has been over for a while now? I've been on that roller coaster as well and may be one of the most passionate Buffalo fans on this board. But year after year of mediocrity can tend to bring the a-hole out in many of us.
TrueBlueGED Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 So is Stamkos the guy we all thought Crosby would be? The one that actually makes Gretzky take notice? Haha nah, Crosby is absolutely the better all-around player. Stamkos is certainly the better goal scorer, but Crosby has the total package. Stamkos is also embarrassingly bad on faceoffs for a player of his talent--45%, below our whipping boy Roy and the invisible man Boyes. Crosby's PPG average I believe is about 1.4, which is good for 5th or 6th in NHL history.
... Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 It's a turtle derby...but still a race! Well, if you want to go there, it's more like this... http://youtu.be/JWjYqnt4l5Q
