Sabres Fan in NS Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 They seem to play well against the Caps ... let's hope it continues. It's a road game, so that is also encouraging.
Tony P Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 I just thought the same thing. Lots of interest in this tilt tonight I guess.
dEnnis the Menace Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 We need to win tonight, just for sanity's sake :(
samothyev Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 Maybe tonight will be the beginning of a 2 game stretch. Something that seems to have alluded this team!
nfreeman Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 I wonder whether Ovechkin will play like he gives a hoot tonight? Hard to believe how far that franchise has fallen. Enroth should play tonight and Miller tomorrow night, IMHO.
87168 Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 I wonder whether Ovechkin will play like he gives a hoot tonight? Hard to believe how far that franchise has fallen. Enroth should play tonight and Miller tomorrow night, IMHO. I know. I just told my girlfriend that there is a game tonight and she said "you don't really sound excited". All I could say was "yea...."
Rox11 Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 My work schedule has changed so I will not be able to watch it live. Good news for Sabres country, since they won on Monday night and I was unable to watch. Let's get a win tonight, and start a streak tomorrow when I can watch. I don't care how they happen, they had better start happening in clumps. GO SABRES!
TheMadCap Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 Enroth should play tonight and Miller tomorrow night, IMHO. Totally agree. Therefore, I will not be surprised if Miller is in goal tonight. AND tomorrow...
LabattBlue Posted December 30, 2011 Author Report Posted December 30, 2011 No mods around today to pin this??
darksabre Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 The Caps dominated the Rangers two night ago in Washington. The Rags are a team that I've claimed is better than us, so was it a lucky game or have the Capitals figured something out? Good watermark game tonight. I'll be at the Amerks game hoping for a good time.
spndnchz Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 Who's Hot: Ovechkin's two assists broke a career-worst 23-game streak without a multipoint outing. The Washington captain has nine goals and 18 points in 12 home games versus the Sabres, and also notched a goal in Monday's loss.
james duncan Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 9AM and no GDT? Strike up the Phil Collins drums "...I don't care any more..."
itbeatswalking Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 Maybe tonight will be the beginning of a 2 game stretch. Something that seems to have alluded this team! That's what we think everynight :(
waldo Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 Nothing better than a Sabres game tailgate party featuring eight fingers of Jack. Makes it easier to watch the game.
Derrico Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 I wonder whether Ovechkin will play like he gives a hoot tonight? Hard to believe how far that franchise has fallen. Enroth should play tonight and Miller tomorrow night, IMHO. This is no excuse for the way Ovi has played but losing Mike Green after only 7 or 8 games into the season is a huge blow IMO.
LaLaLaFontaine Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 Strike up the Phil Collins drums "...I don't care any more..." I wish it would be so easy to just forget our Sabres, just forget about the greatestt game on earth. I think i will try to watch the game as live tomorrow morning. I hope we continue to own the Caps, but i expect nothing.
Eleven Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 8-0 win. Hunter fired tomorrow morning.
2ForTripping Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 According to Paul Hamilton Lindy wasn't @ the optional skate this morning .... take it for what it is worth
sabres1970 Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 According to Paul Hamilton Lindy wasn't @ the optional skate this morning .... take it for what it is worth I don't know what to think of that.
LabattBlue Posted December 30, 2011 Author Report Posted December 30, 2011 According to Paul Hamilton Lindy wasn't @ the optional skate this morning .... take it for what it is worth Standing inside the Lincoln Memorial can be quite inspirational. Or worst case scenario, it beats an optional skate. What exactly does a coach do at an optional skate anyways?
spndnchz Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 So this will be the last game us TWC subscribers see eh?
LabattBlue Posted December 30, 2011 Author Report Posted December 30, 2011 So this will be the last game us TWC subscribers see eh? I'd be shocked if a deal is not in place prior to the game on 1/3.
