Miller in goal tonight, Ruff said on wgr that Vanek should play and that macnab will be back in the line up. Wonder if there is any chance we see the Kassian, Adam, Foligno line tonight. Lets just hope they show up for the game. GO SABRES

I'm expecting the perfect 2-1 road game win tonight.

60 minutes of tight checking, some strong goaltending from Miller, and a timely PP goal to win it.

Next home game though, I'm expecting us to go up by 2 in the first, and get blown out 7-0 in the 2nd and 3rd, but that's for another GDT.

We should know the lines after the morning skate right?

do we have enough forwards that we won't have to dress 7 defensemen? and if we dress 6 D-men, who sits tonight?

I would prefer to dress 7 d-men. Grags might as well be a forward anyway.

I'm sick of him being a turnover/giveaway machine. If Myers could sit for a game, Grags can sit for a few. especially to give McNasty some time out there, IMO of course.

I'm glad to see Whitmore finally get his shot. In my mind, he's earned it with his constant production during his time in the AHL. I just wish he had actually earned it in the eyes of the front office instead of being the 27th in line, only called up because of the eleventh biblical plague has hit this roster.

Well at least the turnovers wouldn't be as bad if he wasn't at the blueline :bag:

i've given up in trying to keep track of the injuries. Whitmore and Foligno were called up -- are they both going to replace injured forwards, or was one called up just in case Vanek can't go?

Vanek is probable, Ennis and Stuart are both down for the count now.

Gragnani seems to be a popular whipping boy. While I don't feel one way or the other about him, I would like to hear his critics explain the fact that he currently leads the team in plus-minus by a healthy margin.

Numbers don't tell the whole story. Despite what appears to be good hockey on the stats sheet, I find his mistakes come at crucial times and that the plays he doesn't make hurt the team more than the plays he does. It's not a feeling I can explain away with stats. It's a quality judgment. I simply do not like the hockey that he plays.
