spndnchz Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 http://forums.verizo...-TV/ba-p/379481 MSG HD coming in days. NYC already has it. Look for MSG HD on FiOS TV channel 577, 578 or 579, and MSG+ HD on 579, 580 or 581.

craze Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 I have Fios in the Syracuse area and as of this morning MSG and MSG+ are available in HD (finally). Does anyone know if they will be showing the Sabres games in HD because the alternate channels are not listed.
korab rules Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Does this mean we won't be seeing any more open letters to Ted Black?
beerme1 Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 An Open Letter To Ted Black: Ted we are being served an injustice in the Cheektowaga community due to the fact that Time Warner stopped their build out of Fios in West Seneca. There are more people in Cheektowaga Ted. I beleive with you pushing the issue we may get it. Please help. Send Money!
... Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 While this is great news for local Fios subscribers (like me), part of this, I'm sure, is tied to the announcement made earlier this month: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-tech/post/verizon-ends-satellite-deal-fios-expansion-as-it-partners-with-cable/2011/12/08/gIQAGANrfO_blog.html In short, no more Fios expansion.
Bullwinkle Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 To tell you the truth...SD/HD...I see little difference. Of course at my age it could just be my eyes.

korab rules Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 To tell you the truth...SD/HD...I see little difference. Of course at my age it could just be my eyes. If you are still watching on your old magnavox console TV, you are right - there is no difference.
Bullwinkle Posted December 16, 2011 Report Posted December 16, 2011 I just got rid of my rabbit ears last year...my wife said I can't watch the big 3 - NBC, CBS, ABC anymore because of some new-fangled digital stuff that I don't understand. So I had to bite the bullet and get a used TV - without vacuum tubes! Plus some box that lets me watch the big 3 and more. Still black and white though. So sure...it looks the same to me.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted December 16, 2011 Report Posted December 16, 2011 To tell you the truth...SD/HD...I see little difference. Of course at my age it could just be my eyes. REALLY? What sort of TV are you watching on. HD stream on HD TV versus SD on SD TV not even close
thesportsbuff Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 Good for Fios people. Now Time Warner is gonna pull it :wallbash:
