spndnchz Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Full episode! Taken down for the aud smell
carpandean Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Uncut, too. 5 f-bombs already and I'm just 2 minutes in.
That Aud Smell Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 thanks. but what became of this sort of admonition? http://forums.sabrespace.com/topic/18387-trade-deadline-are-the-sabres-buyers-or-sellers/page__view__findpost__p__246677
Captainkirk001 Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Great find! Thanks....I almost ordered HBO for this...
Samson's Flow Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Watched the first episode last night in the hotel room. There's some decent stuff in there and a surprisingly large amount of on ice f-bombs... Unfortunately the two teams highlighted I couldn't give two sh!ts about.
Captainkirk001 Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Unfortunately the two teams highlighted I couldn't give two sh!ts about. I agree, however I found myself enjoying the Rangers parts more than the Flyers parts, probably due to my hatred for that team...

spndnchz Posted December 15, 2011 Author Report Posted December 15, 2011 thanks. but what became of this sort of admonition? http://forums.sabres...post__p__246677 Is there any doubt where it came from?
Hawerchuk Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Thanks spndnchz! For all us non HBO subscribers.
That Aud Smell Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Is there any doubt where it came from? i'm not sure. i asked because, at the linked thread, you responded to my confusion about issues with "copyright stuff" by providing me the following "automated" message: Copying and pasting whole articles or large portions of articles is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. If you want to reference an article published elsewhere, please provide a link (a short piece of relevant text is ok to include) and then provide your commentary. Thank you for your cooperation. in terms of copyright, the hbo special is no different than a written piece. so i'm wondering why it's okay to embed an entire copyrighted film, but it wasn't okay to copy and paste an entire copyrighted article. that's all.

Ur prolly right. its gone. Now everyone can find it on their own.
SwampD Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Since there is nothing to see here, you might as well check this out. http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_daddy/post/Baptism-isn-8217-t-a-baptism-without-a-Buffalo-?urn=nhl-wp19695

That is up to youtube to police, not us. The only thing that get "embeded" is some youtube code. The video is stored and served from youtube and can be deleted without our intervention. When someone posts an article here - it is stored on our servers and therefore WE have to remove it. Big difference.
That Aud Smell Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 That is up to youtube to police, not us. The only thing that get "embeded" is some youtube code. The video is stored and served from youtube and can be deleted without our intervention. When someone posts an article here - it is stored on our servers and therefore WE have to remove it. Big difference. i had a sense that there was a difference, from a tech standpoint. thanks, scott. but it seems to me that the distinction you're describing is concerned with how the issue gets cured (in the case of the article, you all have to expunge it; in the case of the youtube clip, it disappears on its own at the source), but not whether the posting of the materials is an issue in the first place. if the admins didn't want copyrighted articles being used/re-broadcast without permission (and i wasn't sure there was a problem there, fwiw), then i didn't see why the use or re-broadcast of a copyrighted film should be treated differently. that's all. and in the event it's not clear: i'm not trying to play gotcha games; i value and respect the community you oversee, and i just wanted to call to mind what seemed to be a relevant "precedent."
sabres1970 Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 I look at Tortorella and Lavielette and I honestly just can't picture Lindy being able to rally his troops like they can.
cdexchange Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 This show was fantastic. Thanks for the link Chz.
Hawerchuk Posted December 16, 2011 Report Posted December 16, 2011 Full episode! Taken down for the aud smell Damn. I can't find it on YouTube now. Only a preview not the hour long one. I really wanted to see this but unfortunately i was at work. Anybody help me out where to find it for us non HBOers? Thanks!
jordano Posted December 16, 2011 Report Posted December 16, 2011 I look at Tortorella and Lavielette and I honestly just can't picture Lindy being able to rally his troops like they can. Guess again.
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted December 16, 2011 Report Posted December 16, 2011 My dislike of Tortarella made the Rangers parts equally hated. You must hate me, because about 95% of what he said, I have said. :P HBO is far and away the best programming you can find.
All Along The Watchtower Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 Being a Rochester native, I liked the part about the city and Callahan. OK, who didn't sniffle during the part with Callahan's gramma? I wasn't going to watch because I despise both teams, but the quality of this show is just too good. Set the DVR to tape the remaining segments. My dislike of Tortarella made the Rangers parts equally hated. Don't mind Torts; coached the last Amerks Calder Cup team.
Cereal Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 The full first episode is available on nhl.com, although as always, nhl.com is sooooo slooooooooowwww..... I haven't gotten it to successfully load yet. <_< http://video.nhl.com...id=89&id=142984 Edit: Looks like it just likes to wait for the entire thing to load before it allows you to start playing the video.
Andrew Amerk Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 I'd have to go back and watch again, but.., One of the coaches said something about not messing with the lines, so they can grow chemistry...and because it can make the players lose confidence and start second guessing... Wonder if Lindy saw it and paid any attention.
spndnchz Posted December 22, 2011 Author Report Posted December 22, 2011 Full episode 2: http://youtu.be/Rva4x-qvtwU
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted December 22, 2011 Report Posted December 22, 2011 And I wonder why my cable bill feels like ######................
