LabattBlue Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 It's almost Xmas, and the Sabres are terrible. I have to go with Rudolph!!!
Guest Sloth Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 How'd "8 Crazy Nights" get left off?! All kidding aside, my fav animated Christmas special is Charlie Brown Christmas.
Eleven Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 You spelled "Timmy" and "Center" wrong in the first choice.
Bmwolf21 Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Off that list - my classic favorite is Rudolph. My new favorite is Disney's Prep & Landing.
biodork Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Rudolph, for sure. Although I also love A Claymation Christmas Celebration... I'm glad they've made it available on DVD because my crummy VHS tape recording finally gave out after all these years, lol. Good stuff. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Claymation_Christmas_Celebration
qwksndmonster Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Simply classic. I loved Dr. Seuss books.
Cereal Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Simply classic. I loved Dr. Seuss books. yyyyuuuuup. My favorite part is when that sly Grinch gets the idea to loot Whoville, and his face slowly scrunches all up in the most devious grin imaginable. I wouldn't touch him.........with a 39 and a half foot poooooooooooooole By the way, the Jim Carey version they made a few years ago is a disgrace to this classic animation.
deluca67 Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 It's not Christmas until you watch Rudolph.
carpandean Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 It's not Christmas until you watch Rudolph. I know it's not animated, but it's not Christmas until you watch A Christmas Story.
Buffalo Wings Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Torn between Charlie Brown & Rudolph, but I picked Rudolph...that one always brings me back.
deluca67 Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 I know it's not animated, but it's not Christmas until you watch A Christmas Story for 24 straight hours. Fixed it for you!
FolignosJock Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Man I am in the super minority but my favorite has always been Frosty
LabattBlue Posted December 15, 2011 Author Report Posted December 15, 2011 I know it's not animated, but it's not Christmas until you watch A Christmas Story. Same way for me with It's a Wonderful Life. :)
dEnnis the Menace Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Same way for me with It's a Wonderful Life. :) I get together with my family every year to watch that one, it's become a tradition.
spndnchz Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Burger Meister Meister Burger. http://youtu.be/YTlChGL0lsk
NNYSABRESMAN Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 I picked Charlie Brown, but i really like all of them. Can remember as a kid scanning the TV guide from December st on to make sure I did'nt miss one of them. Do they even print the Tv guide anymore?
That Aud Smell Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 while not strictly animated, it belongs in the conversation: emmet otter's jug band christmas. as jason segal has reminded us, it's hard to do better than the muppets. also: river bottom nightmare band:
carpandean Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 I know it's not animated, but it's not Christmas until you watch A Christmas Story for 24 straight hours. Fixed it for you! :clapping: You are correct, sir.
james duncan Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Charlie Brown. Rudolph way too scary for me.
Sabre Dance Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Charlie Brown #1. Grinch a close second. I'll stay away from any stop-action specials like Rudolph; the jerky animated movements give me the creeps.

mphs mike Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Fixed it for you! My neighbor even gave me a leg lamp last year! Animated is either Rudolph or Charlie Brown.
