You have no idea the effect Skyrim has over your life. Once you start a game, that's it, nothing is more important than defeating dragons. I don't care if you're an elf mage or a human thief, there is no escaping the claws of Skyrim.

As long as this team stays the same (meaning the core - Darcy, Lindy, just to name 2), it will never win....

Win What??? This team is better than last year and they won a few games down the stretch if i remember...

I suspect you are setting yourself up for disappointment if you are hanging your hat on a repeat of last years' run. There is no great big arena shattering event to be announced that would be a catalyst for that sort of run.

Apparently they are having a closed door meeting.

And why is Connolly my default avatar....yeesh.

They don't need a ###### closed door meeting. They need to play hard for 60 minutes. No meeting fixes that.

And the default avatar is incentive.

We can organize a posse and go cane Roy's ankles...just an idea.

Those have worked so well in the past.

How much did Pegula spend just to have this team at .500 through 30 games? The Sabres are almost dead center in the middle of the pack. 10 points out of #1 overall in the NHL and 12 points out of dead last in the NHL.

Long wait for Lindy's presser...

He looks hot pink...

Careless plays + penalties = "that hurts"

Stafford's man in OT.

Ruff is, uhm, somewhat disgusted..? That's a new emotion this season.

Because he had two goals tonight for the Laughs including the game winner in OT ?

Lindy had no problem throwing Stafford under the bus for that last goal, saying "Stafford should of stayed with his man." Will we see Stafford sit ?

My thoughts.........

For the 2nd half of the 1st period Buffalo as a team skated harder than Ottawa. And when they skated hard they were victimizing Ottawa's D. Other than that, I thought Ottawa skated harder to loose pucks than Buffalo did.

Why do opposing teams seem to do a better jobs of getting sticks in passing lanes than Buffalo does?

We got secondary scoring tonight. Can't use that excuse here.

Other than the 2nd half of the first period, I thought our effort along the boards and for loose pucks was absolutely atrocious. Forwards especially. Late in the 3rd Roy let up early on a puck along the boards when a Sen had a step on it. All night long the Sens did not give up on pucks even if our guy had position. And it showed. I thought all of our forwards not named Kassian were beaten more often than not for control of the puck.

Best line tonight was Leino, Adam, and Kassian.

Even with the D men that we all wanted to see out there, we were very susceptible to Ottawa's forecheck. I can't help but think at this point that personnel isn't the problem. I'm becoming convinced it is more of an X's and O's thing.

Lindy threw Stafford under the bus without a second thought, but there is blood on his hands as well. Lindy, when it's your system that has preached getting in lanes instead of taking a man you have to expect that play to happen.

With Kassian's strong play, combined with Stafford's poor start, I would think Stafford might be expendable (might depend on how bad Boyes' injury is). Teams will remember Staff's 30 goal year last year... but would they want his $4 mil. salary?
