korab rules Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 Hey OP - where are you reading that TK was cut? He doesn't appear on the list of NHL transactions since his recall on 11/15. Here's the link to up to the minute transactions, and he isn't there.
RazielSabre Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 Well, it's impossible to know, but I suspect he'd be on the Sabres if he hadn't screwed it up by taking them to arbitration. He was in a pretty good groove, he played a lot at the end of 2009-10 and the playoffs that year and Lindy liked him. I liked him too -- I thought he had good hockey IQ, was a good skater and played tougher than his size. Fair point, just that he seems the perfect type of player to have been involved in one of Darcy's summer deals.
SDS Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 There he is - right on the roster: http://panthers.nhl.com/club/roster.htm and no news on the Panther site about him being cut... unless it was with nail clippers.
nbash Posted December 13, 2011 Author Report Posted December 13, 2011 I saw this Tweet from the usually reliable TSNBobMcKenzie Bob McKenzie FLA puts Tim Kennedy on waivers. TB puts Anti Miettinen on waivers. Obviously, signed from Europe. 23 hours ago

Obviously, signed from Europe. 23 hours ago I guess this is correct, but the title probably should have been more precisely worded. http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sports_hockey_panthers/2011/12/kenney-placed-on-waivers-tallon-thrilled-about-start.html
Chief Enabler Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 I'll be honest, TK had a good run in BFLO. Given the right path, he would be the next drew stafford... I don't mean that in a good way, TK had more grit; and on some nights, was the best on the ice on many flat nights.
