nobody Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 The Sabres will also be represented by their 2011 1st round pick, Joel Armia (Finland). But he's Finnish - no one cares about that team. :)
deluca67 Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 There is no place here for reason. Either start drinking and consuming large quanities of illegal narcotics OR stop posting . I am sure we could have won last night if we just had Lucic. He would have handled all that doubling in the offensive zone so much better than Vanek did. Doubling? Is this the NBA?
inkman Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 But he's Finnish - no one cares about that team. :) Don't you mean nobody cares about that team?
waldo Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 [/b] Doubling? Is this the NBA? It could be a reference relating to the NBA, or investment modeling,or cube mathmatics , or physical chemistry or a million other things ,but in this case i used the term to describe the act of putting two defenders on one offensive player, in specific types of situations. In this case, when said offensive player has the puck in the opposing teams offensive zone? Highly unusual and they did it more than a few times (a no no in some defensive schemes). I use trap to describe a similar activity in the neutral zone, although that defensive scheme has a different goal. I wish the Sabres were playing basketball, they would probably be playing better. :D
waldo Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Can you please stop doing this? There is no need to ratchet up the animosity further. It drags the quality of the conversation down. I am confused Weave. Is this Oceania ?. :D
