Sabre Dance Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 Was at Center Ice, 11 rows behind Rayzer last night and was two rows from the top on Friday night. Both sections were full of zombie-like fans, so I'm not sure the section matters much. I've sat through plenty of boring defensive games in Nashville and the crowd at those games is typically much louder. I agree with CHZ that the in-game marketing is atrocious. Nothing going on between periods. They played classical music, Christmas music, Christoper Cross... at a hockey game? I vehemently disagree with those on here who say the team doesn't need to spruce up the in-game experience with some combination of music, scoreboard video clips, in-game promotions, on ice fan competitions between periods... I've always felt that those sort of measures were a bit bush-league (you know, for teams that need to attract more people to the games, like Carolina...) But, maybe with the lack of action ON the ice, you have to come up with something to justify the price of a ticket.
