MarkAF43 Posted December 6, 2011 Report Posted December 6, 2011 That was last night? Anyone get punched out? Groped? Pictorial evidence? I was working the event last night, and didn't see Barnaby, no one else I talked to did, and no one got punched out that I heard, groping well.......
Eleven Posted December 6, 2011 Report Posted December 6, 2011 he tweeted at one point last night that he was at Jack Asters.......... didn't see the tweet but folks talking about it at the 'water cooler' This is problematic. I'd expect a guy with NHL experience and ESPN press credentials to have drinks at a real bar. That said, obviously, the man needs help. Not just in the taste department, either.
Bmwolf21 Posted December 6, 2011 Report Posted December 6, 2011 Let me guess, he drinks and hits women because he played the "enforcer" role in the NHL.... I don't think anyone who is examining or researching the link between repeated blows to the head and brain damage (causing depression, mood swings, etc) is specifically singling out NHL fighters - they are looking at football players of all ages, boxers - hell, there was even a recent report on head injuries from repeated soccer headers. Head trauma is a serious problem for all physical/contact sports.
Corp000085 Posted December 6, 2011 Report Posted December 6, 2011 Hasn't Barnaby already pre-donated his brain to that CTE research study? I was talking with my mom yesterday and we both agree that odds are his "specimen" will be donated far too soon.
X. Benedict Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 Deadspin on Barnaby http://deadspin.com/5868160/
wjag Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Deadspin on Barnaby http://deadspin.com/5868160/ How the heck does he get away with no jail? How does he keep his license? The man drove 9 miles without a tire. That's insane or utterly drunk. He was a complete hazard to everyone on that road that night. That is a total lapse of judgement or a man without any judgement. And he gets to keep his license? Sheeshh..

korab rules Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 If he plead guilty there is a mandatory revocation of the license I believe. But as a first time offender he would also be eligible for the drinking driver program - you get a limited use license and take a class and at the end of the class your full license gets restored
