wjag Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 Outshot 16-4 in the third... This is crazy.. What happened to my Sabres...
OverPowerYou Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 Don't foret, this is the team that came back against us while down 3-1 in the last 2 minutes last year then beat us in OT. There's no quit in this Nashville team.

bunomatic Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 Gaustad upper body injury. When will it ever stop? :wallbash:
SwampD Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 This isn't exactly a new paradigm. The Sabre's offense disappears every season. I believe the term is Alamo Mode, though, not sure it applies tonight.
... Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 Haha! I notice the Preds are trying pretty hard not to touch Miller now. That's an improvement right there.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 Gaustad upper body injury. When will it ever stop? :wallbash: i know........ :wallbash:
darksabre Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 Outshot 16-4 in the third... This is crazy.. What happened to my Sabres... They started playing defense and not hanging Miller out to dry. I don't think Nashville had a successful breakaway or odd man rush in this game. And oddly enough, we got some offense from all of it and a win. I liked the crease being a place no one in yellow was allowed to go near.
samothyev Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 Although a bit shakey at the end a solid game. Nice to see the youngins getting some points!
kishoph Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 MILLER steals one for the team his 1st game back. Seven SOG's in the final 40 minutes, inexcusable.
bunomatic Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 Like the outcome and the result speaks for itself. Miller played great. Offensive chances were few and far between. For me personally I won't back off on my comments after the game yesterday about management and the need for change. But tonight I'll savor the 2 points and look to the next game.
Guest Sloth Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 Gaustad upper body injury. When will it ever stop? :wallbash: And the Sabres have followed the philosophy of "There can be only one!" And that "one" being not injured. Who's the next one to go down?

I hear you, although I don't think it was from lack of effort tonight. Nashville was playing some hella-good defense. Did Goose even play in the 3rd? I know someone said he got hurt, did it happen in the fight?

This is about right. It's two points. Miller looked good tonight (driving that trade value up) and Kassian took another step towards being a permanent fixture in the lineup. I thought Kassian deserved an assist on the Adam goal.
JJFIVEOH Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 Erhoff's been playing great the last couple of weeks, and this was his best! Miller played pretty good considering Sylvester was swinging from his ***** all night.

NowDoYouBelieve Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 MAG +3 on the game and +9 on the season, to lead the team...perhaps he's not the problem?

More so than LEINO, if there was ever a misleading stat it's 2 points for LEINO, I think he has like 7 assist, but I also believe that not one of them are the primary.
... Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 See, it looked to me like THIS roster is starting to gel a little. I am really concerned, now, that when the regulars start coming back, the team could fall apart yet again.

He was the primary assist on Adam's goal, and deservedly so. That line was awesome for most of the game.
