Speaking of bounces...I think Enroth's nickname should be "Ping", because that's the sound I hear seemingly every game as a shot or 3 hits the post untouched at 90MPH.

I like that...."Ping"...I will use it with quotes and a footnote giving you the credit for the moniker.

For the Detroit game, meet me in the Perry St. stairwell on the 200 level with 8 minutes to play in the 1st period. I'll bring the Padron and a can of nacho cheese from the RedHot stand. You bring the signed letter of consent.

I think i remember seeing something like that in a plantiff's affidavit once ? somebody vs. Herman Cain i think. :D

It has nothing to do with how long they've been on the team. The core you speak of has always had older veterans to lead the team whether they had a C/A or not. Almost every team in the league has their resident old guys except for the Sabres. Now they don't. Of course they are vets NOW, that was my point that you obviously seemed to overlook.

Is there a reason you follow me around and trash everything I say?

Umm yes there is. The core has always had older players? So? Older players being around has nothing to do with leadership. For instance, Crosby doesn't lead because they have older players there?

I am "trashing" or questioning your posts because they make generalizations that have been discussed as being weak excuses for a team that has had a bunch of guys entrenched in leadership roles but cant seem to comprehend how to lead. I refuse to believe that Grier, Niedermyer and Lalime leaving the team suddenly left a huge void in the leadership because everyone else is 31 or younger. Its just a crock of sh!t.

Easy there big fella.

Someone's reading my profile's notes.

As for the game? I'm getting tired of going to games. I need it to be fun again.

I feel the same way. More often than not, I walk out of the Arena feeling like I just wasted 3 hours of my life.

Us out-of-towners feel the same watching them...

I think this is the part where a weary looking passerby puts his hand on your shoulder and says "Dude... don't."
