... Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 I like Kassian throwing shoulders....maybe he will get fiesty if the game is in hand. This IS fiesty for the NHL Zack. Maybe Ruff has relaxed his grip on the leash. Luuuuuuuuuke Adam. He's dug himself out of the hole he's been in. Who is he on a line with today?
87168 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 it would be sick if he got a hat trick
wjag Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Amerks 4 - Caps 1 Another great effort by Adam
Tyrannustyrannus Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 I love the ahl guys I'm gonna have to hit up an amerks game i was thinking the same thing
Iron Crotch Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 This IS fiesty for the NHL Zack. Maybe Ruff has relaxed his grip on the leash. Luuuuuuuuuke Adam. He's dug himself out of the hole he's been in. Who is he on a line with today? I think Leino and Szczechura (who has two points BTW).
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 This IS fiesty for the NHL Zack. Maybe Ruff has relaxed his grip on the leash. Luuuuuuuuuke Adam. He's dug himself out of the hole he's been in. Who is he on a line with today? Sczsczsczscz was in on the pin then went straight to the net when the puck was fished out.
North Buffalo Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 He was never pegged as being a physical defenseman.. he isn't here to hit. And more importantly he doesn't have the frame to really "lay anyone out." I agree and disagree. No he isn't pegged as one, but he still needs to hit once in a while especially in the corners. Hitting is as much an attitude as anything else... eg. Gerbe.
Iron Crotch Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Leo and Sekera are both +3 in this one (so far).
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Sczsczsczscz was in on the pin then went straight to the net when the puck was fished out. I love what i am seeing. this guy needs to stay up over Ellis at the least. He's skating hard back and seems to know where to go without the puck. Maybe this is his Bernier game.
njh2604 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Leino's been good tonight is working hard and creating for others even though he has only the one assist tonight.
... Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 So, let's analyze what we're seeing here: Are the kids so green that they're unable to do anything else but play "the system" to a "T"? Are the kids so green that they're not necessarily playing "the system" but, rather, are just playing? Is it that "the system" works well against a team like the Caps? Is it that the kids are hungry and are putting in the effort?
biodork Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 So what has happened to OV's game? In the past he was a one-man wrecking ball.. He's been practically invisible tonight. Suspect he will be heard from before this is over. Need one more goal.. This article was on GR today: http://wgr550.com/pages/11548216.php?contentType=4&contentId=9430151 Sounds oddly similar to a few years back when Vanek was in Ruff's doghouse. That may end badly for Boudreau if the Caps don't turn their season around.

carpandean Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 I think that I made this back in 2006-07:
njh2604 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Just have to find that blend of youth & experience if we can get that, Bottle it and we might have a special season ahead of us.
Tyrannustyrannus Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 no way...will Sekera get the Carruba Collision?
biodork Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 no way...will Sekera get the Carruba Collision? Lol sure looked like it. That was close to being interference, but awesome hit.
thesportsbuff Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 lmao @ Leino. can't catch a break.
Iron Crotch Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Sahara (yeah, I know I spelled it wrong) is playing a heck of a game for a guy who none of us know anything about!
Tyrannustyrannus Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 look at Lindy Smile. Good way to get back in the win column tonight, I hope.
